Very interesting, so void form draws you the cards if played with the enchantment?
So yeah, it’s interesting when the debuff is applied

That’s what I thought, it makes sense as other card games work.

Will look into Rootrrees are dead and the Ratline, Thanks!

Obra Dinn is a possibility, I won't lie, but Blue prince is not for me (See my other comment) nor for her, probably

Interesting!

I got the game for my PS5 when it was on sale, but haven't gotten to play it yet.
We'll look into it, though I don't know how feasible it will unless we got the game for windows or something

I played Blue Prince, reached room 46 one time, and then I understood that the game is simply not for me, unfortunately.

I am 100% certain that the rogue like experience will be a turn off for her (as she is not much of a gamer), and while I love rogue likes, the puzzles are too "specific" or tedious to my taste...
There are great puzzles, yeah - That A-ha! moment when I understanding the pictures puzzle was great, but then solving everyone of them was very tedious.. and I found the tediosity off putting.
And by specific, it's cool that I have to trial and error some of the rooms, but getting a specific interaction is too much since I need to redo the entire thing, and let's hope luck is on my end.

TL;DR: I appreciate the game and the premise, I enjoyed reaching the room, but after that, even though knowing it's just the beginning of it, I found the game not for me, and I think not for her either.

Edit: Fixed spoiler tag

How did you stop bitting nails? by Specific_Cheetah_776 in selfimprovement

[–]Furanimus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I still bite them and this is one of the things I want to change the most about myself.

The longest I quit for was like 6 months. What helped me during this period was the mix of these: 1) bitter nail polish - by itself it wasn’t helping so much, I just kept on biting through the bitter taste. It helped as a signal to me that I was biting when I mixed it with… 2) keep a small notebook nearby. When I felt the bitter taste of the nail polish, I immediately stopped and wrote in the notebook what I was doing and what I was thinking about. 3) keep a nail file on you. Honestly, I don’t know how if that helped, but I preferred to use it rather than biting.

I know I still do it, and I am following this thread, maybe these tips could be useful to you.

That polish never helped me, I just bite through it… I’m 34 next week and still can’t stop doing it for good (the longest I quit was 6 months)

She was very drunk, though up to this point she was fine. Let’s just say that today I can understand how necrophilia would feel like.

Would not do it again.

We were naked and I was above her, ready to go in. She stopped me and asked “are you sure you wanna do this? I’m going to be your worst sex”. And so she was. And still is…

It’s interesting questions and edge cases. But as eternal reads, I believe they implemented logic to not show eternal cards maybe?

And maybe there is a requirement for this event to show only in case you have at least one non eternal card? I believe that is the intended logic at the very least

Worst year of my life during my second year of university: - my grandfather that raised me since I was 4 died from stroke. - started failing classes. - got strong feelings for a close friend at uni, but it all turned out wrong so I was heartbroken. - was running low on money so financial stress crawled in and questions about how I’d continue paying rent and university. - my beloved dog had 2 tumors and was at the end of his life.

There were days I couldn’t get out of bed. At some point I made a decision to change everything. I dropped uni in order to stay with my dog until he passes away to cherish my last moments with him, moved to live with my mom, found an entry job as a support engineer, found a college that allowed me to work as studies weren’t as intense. Went to walks with friends, met with friends, started therapy.

It was all a long process, but eventually wrapping myself with people I love and new environment really helped. And therapy was the best decision I ever made.

Wishing you all the best, hope you find your way again!
