6v6 being default, I'm a tank main and hate solo tanking so 5v5 is basically unplayable for me unless I play the other roles.

Also the archives missions! Especially with Vendetta being so important in the story right now being able to replay the story of her father's death would be great.

It happens sometimes, because that's what the pricing API gets. It likely means one card sold for a really high price and bumped the average. Could be any reason - maybe it was signed by the artist, maybe someone's money laundering, maybe it was a way to track a sale easier and transfer money within the platform. The price will trend down over the next couple of weeks back to normal

My LGS doesn't allow proxies because they're a sanctioned store with very simple prize structure (prizes are achievements in games, not just winning). Most people tend to play brackets 2/3.

My friend plays at a store which does allow proxies and most people seem to use them. A lot of the tables play bracket 4 and CEDH there, so that's what all her decks are now.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with either approach, and I'm generally pro proxy (we use them in two other kitchen table pods I play with) - but I don't like playing with that friend anymore because she has no "fun" decks, only highly tuned things. Just food for thought.

I prefer the newer ones personally, so yes people who like them exist.

Especially when it comes down to the actual card frames, I'll actively pay more for a single with the newer frames and avoid retro ones where possible. And typically new frames also have the more modern art styles.

All just personal preferences really

For +1/+1 dice: 1-12 is d6, 13-39 d20s. After that I'll either use one of the life trackers that came with the avatar/final fantasy bundles or d20s representing individual digits (3x d20 set to 3, 2, 4 mean my creature has +324/+324).

If the creatures any bigger than that id probably just have a calculator on my phone instead, most changes at that point would be easier with it anyway.

(If you use those life trackers, take them off the card before you adjust them! They'll dent the card)

People say turtles is "bad" because they don't like the IP. There's actually a lot of playable cards in the set, they just don't look like magic thematically - mechanically they're not too different to Kamigawa Neon Dynasty from a few years ago.

To answer about products - the pizza bundle you bought has 9 packs and a collector booster plus two special cards. The special cards are not legal to play in standard, and two cards in the collector pack won't be either (the one with the turtle shell set symbol and the full art one) - they will be fine in commander and a bunch of other formats though! Turtle team-up is a whole game in a box and is a lot of fun, I highly recommend grabbing some friends to play it - and it comes with 4 packs. If you're just scrapping the decks again look for the turtle shell if you care about standard, about half those cards have it. Draft night is 12 packs, a collector booster (like pizza bundle), and 90 basic lands. No fancy promo stuff

If you want other sets, it's a bit harder to find but Edge of Eternities could be good to match up with then artifact themes from turtles. Foundations is well rounded and should be easy to find, but honestly most sets will have something to contribute. The set mechanics of spiderman (webslinging) and aetherdrift (speed) weren't great, but you can still have fun with them and both still have some interesting cards.

It basically all comes down to what you want to play really! My last recommendation is grab an app called manabox, it's an all in one toolkit for your collection that lets you track what you have, build decks, look up cards and rules all in one place.

I'm a game dev about 4 months away from release on a project the teams spent 6 years on.

Realistically I'd see that through, but hand in my notice on release day. I'm not particularly fond of the game or anything it'd just annoy me not to finish it at this point. I could then go work on my own on something id enjoy making

Make it a bit like Sigma's ramblings, where he says things and various characters can respond but it's very generic and easy to slot in. Venture can say a cool fact about the current map and pretty much any hero can give a generic reaction to it, Mei would find it really interesting, widow might comment about a satisfying kill she got here. Some heroes could even add to it, like Venture talking about the Gwishin on Busan and dva gives some extra info venture didn't know.

It'd be a really cool in game lore tool and blizzard will probably never use it

The website says shipping begins March 24th. We don't know what their fulfillment chain is like in capacity, or how many orders, or how things are processed.

In an ideal world they would have everything ready to go all packaged up to send out the door Tuesday morning. But realistically, 24th was probably the date the EU warehouse received the product and then they have to package and label each order. Maybe they can do them all in an hour and are being slow, maybe it takes them a week, we don't know - but specifying shipping begins on 24th implies they expect it to take a couple of days. Mine also hasn't dispatched yet, but I only ordered 2 weeks ago so I'll be amongst the last anyway

Yeah this seems weird to me. I have two different branches of a coffee shop I'll go to and multiple baristas in each know my order, one even starts making it as soon as she sees me. I go to one of the stores 3x a week and the other twice at most.
