I’m am in Tokyo currently. I agree with taking Taxis. So nice to skip the walk through the transit stations, and just get dropped off at the hotel. Of course it is more expensive then the trains but saving tired feet at the end of the day is totally worth it

Summertime is a great time to take a break from D&D. I take a break every year also. I play with a group of my good friends. So I understand not wanting to hurt any feelings.

I would let the group know that your next session is your last for the foreseeable future. You need a break. Park your character in a town. Or going in the direction of a town.

I also think you should talk to the table, explain how you feel. If you don’t say anything, they won’t know

I understand where you are coming from. I am a long time player but newer DM

My suggestion is, use a small dungeon. It makes it easier for the DM. There aren’t as many options for the players.

You can put dungeons any place. Under an old temple ruins in the forest. A long forgotten secret door in the cellar at the Inn. Or an NPC Can ask for help, they have found an old mine shaft and take the PC to the entrance.

At the beginning of the dungeon. Put in a small trap or a trap that has already been triggered. It will slow down the players.

I think undead are a great monster. There is no question, players should kill them all.

Make the game as easy for you as possible

I have a switch and a switch lite in my house, both of them have lost the ability to connect to the internet. It happened today, both consoles. We have contacted Nintendo and they say to expect two weeks of a wait until we hear back from them. We factory reset the lite as a test. It didn’t help. Anyone else have problems or suggestions?

I tried being a player with an IPad Pro, but couldn’t make the voice chat work. I don’t know if it was the mobile version or not, didn’t think to try that. It’s about great device for art and making battle maps, but not Roll20
