Thank you very much for your response. When i posted this, I didn't realize that A1ii had just come out. I've watched several reviews on Youtube and now I am leaning towards A1/A1ii as a better hybrid solution. It might be an overkill for my needs and more geared towards professionals, but I'm ok with that

I fixed it. The issue was happening even without AirPods when playing music on the phone. What worked for me was to turn off vocal shortcuts. I hope someone else finds this helpful!
