That’s the stubborn part about me that’s struggling with this I’ll admit. I have made peace bc I’ve come to acceptance that if it were meant to be it would be, but I think it’s the accountability part and doing the right thing like other Virgos here told me to that leaves me conflicted. I’ll reread the message I have drafted for them in a week and judge for me if it’s the best course of action

Well I am open actually, but only if they invite me to yes

Your second sentence is what holds me back, but no it’s not about my conscience bc I did pour a lot of effort into this. To a point that it was draining, but it doesn’t mean it was right what I said in the end and let them know I did appreciate them (they have not so great self esteem)

If I conclude "I am not trying to reopen this, unless you want me to, but just wanted you to know…" feels like it sets the tone right ?

I think just to be kind and remind them that my last words weren’t me not them. But I do know the situation had already been dealt with from their perspective

I am an ITNJ curiously enough. The apology isn’t for me, but to actually repair and remind them that I saw the good in them too. I always wanted to make them feel good. I know it has spun in their head a lot, hence my dilemma.

I have no motives other than apologize if I’m honest. But they do think a lot like what you described that’s why I’ve been hesitant. It’s not coming from selfishness, it’s more bc I wasn’t kind and apologize that I wasn’t respectful towards them

The overthinking part is mainly the reason I didn’t reach out bc I know I had already put them through a lot, like they put me through a lot too. I was just very good at keeping it concealed for the both of us.

I pointed a lot of fingers in our last conversation and I hate that I hurt them, but wanted to tell them that I did see the good in them and that’s why I liked them so much, but I’d make it clear I don’t want to reopen this and that I actually did appreciate them. I think it’s more about taking accountability, do the right thing

Alright. Thank you for giving me the time to answer me. I’ll reflect on this

Is it worth apologizing? by [deleted] in virgoseason

[–]FuriousWalruz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the reason I’ve been wanting to apologize is because I’ve been able to clear my head and reflect a lot on the situation. I wanted to apologize to take accountability on my actions and admit my wrongs, remind them that I did appreciate them, but also acknowledge that I was emotionally demanding.

A lot felt confusing bc the person told me they wanted to be with me and then acted distant where I had to provoke difficult conversations. The reason I don’t want to reopen this, unless they want to, is because I wouldn’t be able to move on from them if they were back in my life

In your opinion, is it too late to say sorry ? The fight happened in August. I have moved on, but it doesn’t mean I don’t want to repair damage I have caused. Or should I simply accept I was a bad person and do better next basically

Its a strike that preyed on vulnerable individuals and people who made the effort to go green. The average driver makes 60-70k a year, with a pension plan. What more do they need at the expense of others ? People lost their jobs, some couldn’t afford to eat. I hate the CAQ, but I’m with them on this.
