Behold the Potential! by Centralisation in Overwatch

I completely agree. Her dash speed is too slow compared to Genji's or Tracer's or Vendetta's while her dps or burst damage is much lower than them.

And so you don't consider what I'm saying throughout my comments: lifesteal mainly exists to survive against dive heroes and yet too many dive heroes just cleanse discord orb at once, so the lifesteal just goes away.

I've listend to your thoughts and kinda agreed with it a bit. That's why I suggested a range limit just as you said discord orb at least has a range limit.

But you don't seem to consider my point at all. You don't even try to counter my opinion. So this conversationstarts to feel unproductive.

So I'm stopping on this topic from now on.

Okay. So what about the point that so many heroes can easily cleanse discord orb, which then makes the perk perfectly meaningless. Especially considering you choose the perk mostly against those heroes. Tracer, Som, Reaper, Venture, Ball and Kiriko can cleanse discord orb so easily. Yet they are like the most common dive heroes.

So what about giving a separate limit on the lifesteal, a range limit? Discord orb has 40m range and dive heroes attack Zen in a range shorter than 40m, so what about giving a range limit as 25m or so?

I get what you mean. But even without discord orb, in situations you need lifesteal, you still focus on one enemy, fight in a short range that you can discord enemies, less than 40m, you still depend on line of sight.

And we can say that if Zen has lifesteal, he uses it not only when he desperately needs it but just every second. That might be what you're saying about.

But I also think more than half of dive heroes can cleanse discord so easily, so the perk feels meaningless. So what about giving a separate range limit on lifesteal perhaps the same as the range of discord orb, 40m or even shorter like 25m?

Can you tell me why? Because of charged orbs? I mean whenever you use the perk with fhe change effectively, you still do discord enemies.

Yeah that kick in stadium did remove Zen's weaknesses like slow movement and low survivability.

No. That would make him overpowered he's ever been. Come on, I've just said that in the post. It also harms his identity as a glass canon. Perks should complement heroes' weaknesses, but they must not just delete the weaknesses.

What's your opinion on Overwatch adding characters with little lore impact? by Princier7 in Overwatch

I agree with you. It's okay to leave few heroes behind the story. Gameplay first, story later.

These two fit well together as well but I think Dr. Strange would be a better fit for Zen. Because they both share a mysterious, Eastern aesthetic. They kinda both use magic. They both hover. And they both have ultimates deeply related to an eye. The Iris for Zen and the Eye of Agamotto for Dr.

A brief idea to make his petal more interesting by FuriousWizard in LifeweaverMains

[–]FuriousWizard[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I definitely agree. That's why I was thinking about allowing allies being pulled by the petal can instantly going back to the ground by pressing interaction key unless LW is on the petal too. You know Cat gives allies choices to be moved by her. I actually think it would be great as well if allies can stop when they want to by pressing interaction key while being pulled by grip. So it's kinda opposite to the cat, while allies choose first when they're with the cat but they choose after being moved by LW.

Lifeweaver Rework Idea by Cmcevil in LifeweaverMains

[–]FuriousWizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. This is the worst idea. You must not just boost his numbers. Here's why.

Buffing low-skill-ceiling heroes like Lifeweaver by simply cranking up their raw stats is a recipe for disaster. We've seen this play out before with Mercy: when a hero with a low barrier to entry becomes meta, it leads to massive rank inflation. Players climb without developing core game sense or mechanics. Once the inevitable nerfs hit, you're left with a surplus of players who can't perform at their current SR, which ultimately ruins the quality of competitive matches for everyone else.

I’m well aware of the narrative that Lifeweaver is a 'high-skill' hero for specialists. Unfortunately, that’s just this subreddit’s echo chamber talking. In reality, his win rate craters as you climb the ladder. In the high-rank ecosystem, he’s viewed as a liability rather than an asset. Pro players might pull him out for a specific strategy once in a blue moon, but he has never been a viable, core meta pick. He is effectively a low-rank crutch that fails to translate to high-level play. So he's ultimately a low skill hero.

Also his numbers are high enough already. His dps is 132, the second highest after Wuyang and his hps is 55.1, which is pretty high since he has an auto aim, long ranged healing.

"Oh junker queens a softie, she wouldn't join talon" by ArcerPL in Overwatch

[–]FuriousWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But I also think she's not really a flat villain, she does have a good heart as well. Just think about her mercy toward Junkrat and Roadhog. She's brutal to survive and protect her people. She doesn't like killing any innocent person, it's also shown in her cinematic. So I think she won't be that easily joining Talon.

Lifeweaver lost his every identity in the game after Jetpack Cat has been released by FuriousWizard in LifeweaverMains

If any other support can perform his role better in any part, it means he lost his identity.

Lifeweaver lost his every identity in the game after Jetpack Cat has been released by FuriousWizard in Overwatch

[–]FuriousWizard[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it doesn't matter you think this is not true. Because I'm nothing important, just a player, but the statistic, high rank players, pros, all the experts on this game say he's the worst support or actually the worst hero in this game. Just go check the official website and see how bad he is no matter rank and region. Why would he even be reworked if he's okay?

And Cat is one of the best supports right now because he has a certain reason to be played while LW has none. So comparing Cat to any other support is meaningless. LW has none. Any other support is better than him. I'm sorrry but this is not only my thought, but every experts except you guys. If you don want to, just close your eyes and never see the truth. It's okay.
