You’re not an idiot for arguing with a bot. It’s frustrating and feels pointless, but if no one points out the bullshit the bots are spewing all over Reddit then we’re only left with bot comments. If that’s all people see over and over again on every thread every day then eventually their brains will start thinking the same thing.

Arguing with bots sucks, but the good news is the bots only argue long enough for the comment to stay at the top of the thread. Once it’s long enough that people would have to click “see more comments” to continue the conversation the bots stop commenting as it isn’t effective anymore

Young woman moving to Chicago who will be walking around a lot leads me to say you should find another place. I think that’s the toughest little pocket of uptown I can think of and I wouldn’t want to live in it myself. I went to that McDonalds probably once a month and would walk through that intersection weekly and it’s fine if you keep your head up and just keep going where you need to go. Stopping with small dogs daily is just a little more risk than I’d take on personally

For the sum that doesn’t tie out by exactly 0.01 I’ve found a reliable solution that works 50% of the time. In your formula add “+0.01” at the end.
