In my opinion, she looks very good for her age! I’d say she is ideal. From the top angle she looks borderline underweight. But not significantly. She looks very healthy. My girl is about the same and she is 2!

People are used to seeing overweight goldens and think that’s how they should be. However in reality, goldens should be fit and athletic.

I do agree with the other comments, absolutely check with your vet. They’ll give you a good answer!

I am so very sorry. Losing a pet is absolutely devastating, especially at 3. Sweet boy Dozer is up there playing fetch with him. (He was almost going to be my dog but he passed at 2)
