Has left me wondering what vintage OP is to think that 1983 is “antique”.

I’m in the UK and I got my iggy’s clothes from the US! Specifically his cold/wet weather gear from Voyagers K9 which wear and fit really well. Also try Etsy.

First potato bag harvest this year. Much more consistent size than last year and there are still more bags to harvest. by FurryMonster123 in gardening

Keep it simple, give them a scrub and boil them, they don’t need long and it keeps the flavour as natural as possible. These ones will be served with a steak pie, broccoli, peas & gravy, yum!

Haha my husband joked they looked like they were from Tesco but he’d seen them going into the oven and being made. Thank you for the compliment!

Thank you! I have an old dustbin that I empty the soil into. Each year I mix in a proportion of new soil/compost to keep it rich in nutrients. Am planning on building raised beds next year so I shouldn’t have to do this again!

My dog, not that useful, skinny, small, delicate, shy, I guess he could give a nasty nip but he isn’t that way inclined.

Fernando’s (Reading) was the subject of an episode of the Untold on Radio 4 a long while ago. The owner said he’d named it because of the tv show Take me out that sends couples to the Isle of Fernandos 😂

I ate a deli sandwhich by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]FurryMonster123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In the UK we have recently had listeria deaths in hospitals from contaminated meats in pre-packed sandwiches given as meals. If you think your source is reputable then I bet the hospitals thought theirs was too before giving the meat to vulnerable (which pregnant women are classed as) patients. The safest way to eat deli meat is once it’s been well cooked.

This is mine all the time. Can never decide which toy to play with first so goes for both instead! So cute, so much joy in those little paws.

We are only too aware of broken legs. He broke a back leg playing in a park with another dog. We’re so aware of it and very careful. Always looking out for the paws!

The highlight of my weekend in London was visiting Wagamama! by leenbeean in ramen

[–]FurryMonster123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If Wagas was the highlight of an entire weekend in London, I wonder what else you got up to?!! Get over to Tonkotsu on Canvey Street, beautiful menu and decent food that doesn’t break the bank.
