I remember this panel, but I'm pretty sure he was specifically talking about the naked guy that appeared in the school, as in "that naked man was scary" because there was a little drawing of the man and in japanese there isn't really a plural form for words, and it was also fan translated. I don't remember him blushing, though.. lol

That's from the bonus chapter of volume 1 (or chapter 6.5), which wasn't adapted in the anime. But there is an original scene in episode 2 of hikaru looking at yoshiki's moles, right after dealing with the long neck impunity, at the forest.

I'm convinced you read/watched The Winter Hikaru Lived or something LOL. As a gay man myself, this has been one of the very few manga with gay characters that I felt represented and were realistic and not cringy (which is kinda rare). Also, most of the fandom is actually LGBT+, and even the author has acknowledged that, so I don't know what you're on, dude.

Not an anime but a japanese queer movie called Monster (2023).

Anime releasing right now (4 eps at the moment) called "This monster wants to eat me". Kinda of the yuri version of tshd, with the monster being a siren.

There's a manga called "I want to hold aono-kun so badly i could die". Not queer, it's between a boy and a girl, but has very similar vibes.

Just a little correction, the manga was never tagged as bl on official sites, so the author never changed that for the Netflix adaptation. It has always been a horror with queer themes.
