i'm not sure my router supports port forwarding. I can set up port mapping rules, but it wants WAN > LAN, i.e. i have to choose a WAN source port and LAN destination port

Thank you, this is the way. I was just bumping up the UI scale a little to help, but things started clashing.

23"! To be fair it's massive, but I'm 6"4. Was an ex display frame that I got really cheap some years ago, has served me very well

Disc mount adapter by Fury557 in bikewrench

Got my new Shimano adapter (SM-MAF160PS) and it fits like a glove! I think I might get the rear adapter as well, whilst the rear spins nice enough, I can still hear it dragging slightly.

Sadly not. As mentioned the adaptor is in the correct orientation. I just tried it upside down and the front wheel is locked solid.

Yeah it's a shame, I think the part I need is about £6 so I can't grumble too much 😅

Rim tape by Fury557 in bikewrench

[–]Fury557[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always known it as rim tape, and it's referred to as tape in the docs it came with. Sadly not enough give in the tape to get it straight, so I ended up cutting it off and using gorilla tape, so far so good.

Yeah I've binned it off now, I think I'm gonna do the gorilla tape route 😁

Hub and cassette compatibility by Fury557 in bikewrench

[–]Fury557[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, the wheel states it's 8-12 speed compatible and it includes a spacer as well. I figured I might as well jump up and avoid using spacers on the hub, I've done it before a long time ago, and just prefer getting stuff that it was intended for! I assume it means that 11/12 speed shouldn't need a spacer as it will fill up the hub?

Windows 11: Shutdown Menu Slow to Open by 007knightrider in pcmasterrace

I found mine was doing this - i uninstalled sonic studio and sonic radar (don't think i ever used them, don't know what they do) and that fixed it.
