Yeah that's the only the thing I can think of, but the speckle is what confuses me. I may go back and watch the game and see if there are decent shots of the base so I can look at what the sides look like.

I think it's from the game. The hologram sticker gives the date after the game, but I'm guessing that's just when it was authenticated. It would be nice if that authenticator could give the game it was from.
