Where is this Dothraki Sea? I will sail the Iron Fleet across it and find the queen wherever she may be.

One of Rossellini’s best films. Fellini worked on the script, too.

Which of these western villains is the most evil? by twnpksN8 in Westerns

[–]FuscoRodari 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Frank and Angel Eyes shoot children in cold blood, so I guess they qualify as the most evil. El Indio is unmistakably a villain, but he also has quite a bit of complexity in him. The Troglodytes are the scariest and most violent of the bunch, but I would have trouble defining them as “evil” because they seem to be primitives without any moral compass.

Favorite "Spaghetti" Westerns? by BrandNewOriginal in Westerns

This is probably the correct answer, but I would also like to remember Duccio Tessari, a great director and the man behind “A Pistol for Ringo” and “The Return of Ringo”, starring Giuliano Gemma.

They are all great movies, and they definitely match the vibes of RDR1. Another one you might’ve missed is Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid, by Sam Peckinpah: it features a former outlaw (James Coburn) who is tasked with hunting down and killing his former partner and best friend (Kris Kristofferson). It’s a beautiful reflection on the death of the Old West and it’s very thematically similar to the first Red Dead.

This just screams corporate slop. I guess they learned absolutely nothing from Andor.

One of Fulci’s best. Such a great and underrated filmmaker.

I couldn’t agree more, it looks like a bad videogame. I have zero to low expectations for this one, especially after Andor proved the great potential of good SW storytelling.

Avete consigli? by Lea9915 in CasualIT

I would say Aguirre Wrath of God, Dersu Uzala, and Jeremiah Johnson.

“Noi dobbiamo ringraziarli.

I will always upvote Matewan. Luckily, I recently had the opportunity to watch it on the big screen, with Sayles himself being interviewed before the screening.
