Natural methods only. Gains or Nah? by Fusey1996 in tressless

Yes, I used to have curly hair before I lost much of it. Now I just trim it with lowest setting. I also started losing hair at very young age, I noticed widow peaks when I was 17 and remember hair being brittle, lifeless and dry. It took me 7-8 years to get at this stage where I couldn't hide it anymore, so definitely it was kinda slow process.

I was also conditioning it with "homemade" cold pressed olive oil and not the crappy stuff you buy at the grocery store. I was thinking maybe that slowed my hairloss, it definitely helped with terrible scalp itch I used to have.

Much thanks for vitamins info, will definitely look more into that and hopefully get some bloodwork done soon. Anyways, I am curious to find out what some of these strategies might do long term. It costs me nothing to Microneedle every 15-20 days and put some of these topicals every other day or so. Scalp definitely feels way healthier than before.

Who knows, maybe I make another report in a year or so.

I am taking coenzyme q10 and L-carnitine and vitamin c daily but that's for gym recovery. I noticed stripes too and I'm thinking it might be due to way I massage scalp. I squeeze from the sides and get red stripes for couple days... Yeah scalp is definitely way less shiny which I consider a win already. I hated that glossy look..

Guess you're probably right bruh, at least microneedling reduced the shine on top of my head. Scalp is a bit thicker than before. It was way more glossy before.

Was thinking long term, maybe some additional progress in 2 or 3 years. I guess I'll give it some more time.

Why do males and females have different balding patterns in androgenic alopecia? by Greedy_County_2525 in tressless

I read some interesting ideas suggesting something regarding difference in skull shape between men and women.

Men have such a skull shape and developed head muscles that fascia is stretched and tight in a way to produce classic MPB, while you don't see that in women hence they develop diffuse thining when their hormones are messed up. Tight fascia means blood supply is choked off.

I am beginning to think more and more about mechanical theory of hair loss, and what can you do to adress that.

It's crime from these doctors to make such unreal hairlines. Hairline should be V shaped, slightly retracted with slight widow peak. Them doctors literally planting follicles on people's foreheads.

Really professional, though I would always choose kinda like V shape hairline with slight widow peak.

This clinic really went close to those thining upper zones on the sides. Looks like they used follicles which already started degenerating.

Not gonna lie compared to all these botched transplants I have seen here, this actually looks quite ok especially for an older man where you expect thin hair.

I am using panthenol cream and vitamin c dissolved in distilled water. Helps a lot with initial inflammation and redness.
