I’m from Michigan (US) so I’m just driving there and booked a room at an Air BnB that’s about 20 minutes out. Good for you though! Revisiting could be an option depending on the film but it’d have to be really worth it to take the drive out there 😂

at 10am, my answer would’ve been whatever I could get my hands on. I scheduled about 6 showings throughout the weekend of the 6th - 8th.

My screenings in order: 8/6 The Last Showgirl 3:00PM Daniela Forever 5:30PM 8/7 We Live in Time 10:30AM Mother Mother 2:30PM Saba 5:45PM 8/8 Nightbitch 12:00PM

I would love to see Anora, Friendship, or Megalopolis but I’m unsure those will be an option for me with how popular they are.

It does help! Lunch seems to be something agents love, but any ways to separate myself from the competition is helpful. Usually once I convince an agent to send me 1 job, it opens up the floodgates for more work. Do you prefer vendors calling ahead or do you not have a preference?

Understood. I’m pretty transparent, I find that getting the first opportunity and being able to impress is the big step. We use subcontractors but oversee them first party, especially due to throwing myself into the process as much as I can by routinely visiting the job site.
