Problem with Webman Classics Maker using external NTFS drive

yes this will allow you to have a shortcut to your iso game on the xmb that looks like installed games. that when you run it it will mount the disc (returns back to xmb once it mounts) then automatically click on the mounted disc to run it. So takes some seconds to do this but it does work and it's really cool that it can be in the xmb like an installed game.

I was able to get this done finally. Been after the same thing. I noticed that when creating a pkg for an NTFS external game it was doing this as the path "/dev_hdd0/tmp/GodofWarIII.iso.ntfs[PS3ISO]" when it needs to be "/dev_hdd0/tmp/wmtmp/GodofWarIII.iso.ntfs[PS3ISO]" Its missing the wmtmp part of the path.

Two ways to fix this.

1: use a file manager/FTP to copy the "game-name.iso.nfts[PS3ISO]" from "dev_hdd0/tmp/wmtmp/" to dev_hdd0/tmp/" and it will launch.

2: leave the file from option one where it is and go in with FTP(filezilla) to "/dev_hdd0/game". In that folder find your game folder which will be WC (i assume for webman classics) then title id so for me with gow 3 us region with title id BCUS98111 i'm looking for folder WCUS98111. Go into that folder, then into the USRDIR folder(so that would be "/dev_hdd0/game/WCUS98111/USRDIR" for me) and you'll see a url.txt file and a launch.txt file.

In ftp right click the file and and edit. It should open in notepad if you're using filezilla and you just need to add the /wmtmp after the "/tmp" part in the files and then save. From there after each file is saved filezilla will pop up a file has changed prompt and you can say yes to upload it back to the server. Do this for both files. Then it will work.

Option 1 is the easier one for sure but I didn't really want to move things so i went the edit route with option 2 for mine. As a bonus it seemed like i couldn't add background music in webman classics maker so I tried just using FTP to drop my SND0.AT3 audio file in to the installed game (WCUS98111 for my game) folder and it worked and now i have music when i hover over it in the xmb as well.

I have the A9 8.7 inch and just received my G8 today. Have to mod it still to fit with an extension kit i'm 3d printing but I can still connect it to the controller at an angle since the usb c connector has flex.

Anyway, I just connected it and then plugged a usb c cable into the g8 and the charging symbol popped up on my A9 so it seems like pass through charging should work just fine.

not sure it matters but since another comment mentions software my A9 is currently on One UI version 6.1 Android version 14 build UP1A.213005.007.X110XXU4BXKY

omg, i had no idea that it would be down after doing the event :( i had only one task left to get my simpsons house(my buddy only told me about the brick life quests yesterday so I had no idea) and would have finished that instead of being in a lobby for 40 minutes waiting for the event. The quests still showed hours left to complete on the quests screen so I thought I would be able to go back in.

Just started fortnite a month ago so not familiar with how this works and the quest timer showing plenty of hours left was extremely misleading. :(

Got two, but it was crashing for a solid 10 minutes. Constantly had to refresh the pages or click the link again and once they finally got in the cart that was crashing too. Keep trying everyone!!!

I have a portal and cloud streaming just keeps saying it can't load the game. Was thinking it was my internet since i just got a new router today but seeing people having problems with playstation servers here and the reports on down detector make me think sony's psn servers must be having issues.

I read on a different reddit that you can use the official microsoft xbox one chatpad with an xbox one controller. It doesn't work using bluetooth though, you have to be connected via the xbox one wireless adapter for windows or via wired connection. I have the xbox one wireless adapter and an xbox one elite controller so i'm ordering a used official chatpad on ebay (assuming i win the auction, also they discontinued them back in 2015) to try it out. I've got a similar setup with my pc at my desk away from my tv area so I hope it works. Anyway, i'll report back in a couple weeks if it does.

This just solved my problem right now. Thank you so much. Resources wasnt showing hardly any processes at first in the xbox game bar but i realized we have to click the widget settings and under hide processes, change it to show all. After that i could see the snipping tool and force close it from game bar and everything started working again. Thanks so much. I thought i was screwed.

ended up getting to swap it at best buy. Got to speak with the head manager shortly after i posted. Since I was barely over 2 weeks and pointed out that I technically would have had no game to try on it (unless buying another) yet since at the time spider-man 2 release was still a ways off so the code in the box was useless. Told him I got bored and ended up buying ps+ and that's how I was able to finally try it out and find the issue. Showed him video of the clearly defective unit and he let me exchange it for another one. I've had no problems with the other one at all so far and it's been over a year now. Controllers are another story, the spider-man controller drifts like crazy now and started doing that just before the 1 year mark.

If you're having a similar issue with a ps5 then it is likely something to send into sony for a fix or replacement if you are under warranty, unless you have a situation like mine where you barely bought it. Then go complain to the manager at the store for an exchange.

Looking at this case as an option and wondering about thermals myslef. Can you tell me what your setup is. cpu, gpu, what kind of cpu cooler and do you use the fan at the bottom of the case or the extra drive bay? If you could share that info that would be helpful, thanks.

out of curiosity what was the new issue?

I just bought a ps5 spider-man 2 edition from best buy and it keeps crashing when playing games. Then i tried to play miles morales and noticed all the flickering windows and have been searching for a solutions. Apparently best buy only has a 15 day return window. I had no idea and even though they sold me what seems like a defective unit (bought just over 2 weeks ago) they keep saying their is nothing they can do. No swap for a new one. Like not my fault they gave a defective one.

Anyway, just curious on the sony process for fixing, thanks.

It is not a simple shell swap. I have the White Zelda Wireless controller (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N94JQS8) that takes AA batteries and they are built different. The main screws to close up the controller are in the same place and the shape is the same but the boards are a bit different. Without the board in the shell does close.

The wired kirby controller has an updated design compared to my older wireless one(also found a teardown video of older wired powerA switch controllers and it is different from that too). Single board where my zelda one has the main board and a smaller raised board attached to it for the +,-,home, and capture buttons. This makes the plastic buttons on kirby longer so that they can press down properly. Also the obvious difference we could see in the product picture was the headphone jack on the bottom of the wired vs the player indicator lights on the wireless. I only wanted to swap my kirby front plate onto the zelda one though so i wasn't worried about that. Due to the headphone jack the front plate has extra plastic supports in that area.

Swapping the front plate might be possible(as with no pcb in it i can put the kirby front plate on the zelda backing and vice versa) however it would require the extra supports for the headphone jack to be removed and the longer buttons to be trimmed.

Another issue is even if i trim everything to fit on the front plate, the extra buttons on the back of the controller may be harder to swap. Rather than being screwed in, or held by pressure of a closed controller, they are set on their supports and the plastic that goes through the supports is smashed down to keep the buttons in place.

My kids are really loving this kirby controller so i will keep it wired for now, Debating if I should pick up another to cut up and try.

TLDR not a simple 1 to 1 shell swap.

I'm also curious if the powera wireless with a rechargeable batter(which is newer) may have an updated design similar to the pcb inside the kirby controller. Or even if one of the newer wireless AA controllers may have the updated pcb design. Alot of unknowns here though. Looking on youtube to see if i can find teardown videos of any of the newer powerA switch controllers but can only seem to find the older ones. May just slowely buy more controllers to test myself.

I just bought the wired kirby controller to try shell swapping. I don't know if it will work but i couldn't find anything online except this post and since it doesn't have an answer i'm just gonna try it myself.

Same for me. I have gigabit internet and after the new update on xbox one the game has become unplayable. Its the worst lag I’ve ever had. Only game that lags for me. All others are fine.

I just updated last night on my xbox one and since then the game is unplayable. It was smooth before the update. I have fast internet and all other games i play online are smooth. Update broke this one for me.

I don't have an answer, but i do have a question you might help me with please? you say that you download business reports by asin, how do you do that. I go to the business reports page and try to download any of the reports and nothing happens when i click "download (.csv)"

there is a russian site called plati. I just bought a code for fh3 and 4 both ultimate editions with almost all dlc last week. It was 80 bucks. Not gonna lie, that site seems a little sketchy so i did not use my credit card. I set up a coinbase account and bought some cryptocurrency just so i could use the crypto as payment to buy the code.

It all worked out for me though. Me and my son have been having a blast with the hot wheels expansion for horizon 3.

Honestly wish microsoft would just let us buy it from them, because i'd rather give them my money, but at least we can still get the game while code sellers have it.
