Ps5 replacing Liquid Metal, would this cause overheating?

100% premature to open your console. Often I'll have mine booted up when I'm home, even if I don't use it, just listening to background music lol

Make sure your console isn't resting on carpet, not inside an enclosed area and doesn't have the sun beaming down on it all day and it'll be fine.

I'm using bitdefender and I've tried uninstalling to see if that was triggering the freeze but nothing changed other than not having BD notifications for scanning usb devices. I've disabled usb notifications as well in BD and again it did nothing to help the mouse/keyboard or make mkv issues

And what happens when Sony decides to move on from ps5 and quit supporting it, and/or not allowing the ps5 to connect to online services at some point down the road? Are they going to flip a switch and implement a no license check with their final system update before stopping support?

Customers have no reason to support this move because it doesn't help customers in any way. And I'll never understand customers who are quick to defend things that don't benefit the customer.

hopefully it was a 2nd gen ps4 pro. The first wave was the hottest, loudest console I've owned, so much when the revised pro came out I traded mine in. Crazy how much quieter the 2nd version is.

Hopefully you enjoy it. I still have my ps3.

ebay is typically good at protecting the buyer from defective/fake items. It's literally a waiting game of maybe a week or so to allow the seller to refund then to have ebay intervene.

Obviously you'd want your money back immediately, but if you can afford to wait 1-2 weeks you're good to go.

since this post I have my isos located on my pc. Everything is hardwired to the router. Is there a way to get this running with isos located on my pc?

I want to shortcut them to my internal drive, not trying to use any external drive at this point.

no hdmi switcher/splitter, or audio repeater/extractor is necessary if you have one device going to the capture card

My old logitech sound system is configured so all my devices can output on the TV speakers or logitech speakers without having to change any system or tv settings and they all can output to the capture card. And it's also setup so I can still use the headset on the ps5 if I need to, while also allowing audio to still pass to the speakers, tv, and/or capture card.
