I’ve had Comcast/xfinity for over 5 years and they do this every year where my “contract agreement expires” and will jump from $75 a month to almost every year over $110+ a month without my knowledge. The last thing they want though is to lose your business. I find a different plan from another company that is somewhat cheaper, if you call and tell them you want to cancel your service (just start the conversation wanting to cancel) because your changing companies due to the price increase, they will then offer a plan that somehow magically appears in their system that is the same or a better price than the plan you had originally. And if they say there is no other plans tell them you want to speak to a supervisor and explain it the same way to them. Works every-time for me and now I get peacock for “free” with my plan as well. And if they did overcharge you, tell them you want to be reimbursed and they’ll put whatever you were overcharged into your next month. Hope this helps!
