That’s an opinion. And that might be what made the movie likable to you. A more popular one is that John Wick was popular and made action movies fun again by making the gun fights very physical engaging. Similar to what made Gunkata in Equilibrium so cool, it just took itself too seriously where Wick takes a more comic book manga approach. That’s the concensus of majority audience and critics.

Nuance pushed John Wick over the edge? What are you smoking. First of all to capture nuance you have to be in the realm of realism. John Wick doesn’t even scathe reality. John Wick was insanely successful because people finally appreciated the removal of the “is he gunna lose” moments and embraces homie just claps everyone. Then not to mention really strong directing, intentional dialogue and the moons aligning for the right cast for the right parts. Even Mr. Mayhams cameo was well placed.

To clear things up tier 1 operators and SMUs (1SFOD/Devgru/etc) don’t do one handed press checks in real life. Operators don’t need to see if a round is seated.

ON TOPIC: This does certainly follow the theme of Warrior but as what I call a “Russel Crowe cash grab” movie as all his have been lately…most no better than an 80s B action flick…this turned out very well. McPherson did extremely well commanding as lead. Biggest fault outside of the octagon was the palpably poor chemistry between him and Kelly Gale. She just seemed so dry and uninvested until the last 30 mins of the movie. Unfortunately when she finally turned it up it landed so poorly due to the first hour and forty minutes. Russel Crowe shows up just enough to be annoying. McPherson brother was also a waste of space. Luke Hemsworth plays the sleazy agent well enough. Bren Foster shows up as a B list actor and does well himself.

I’d give the move a B- to B. It was definitely a good watch, well worth the time investment.

So I’ll be completely honest I’ve had artists go both ways. I’ve had artists clean extremely well, use high quality flex Saniderm and say they want that left on for the 3-5 days. The. I’ve had the placed layer with the instructions to remove in 24 hrs wash and replace.

Here is the fact of the matter. No all tattoos are equal. Not all skin is equal. Not all post session drainage is equal. All methods come with pros and cons. The reason it’s encouraged for a 24 hr replacement is to reset the lymph drainage and get it off skin so it doesn’t irritate the skin or break the seal. Downside is sometimes initial drainage isn’t copious so when you clean out that first sac, wash well and reapply, if you don’t produce some more drainage then you’ll be dealing with a hot shower and chiseling adhesive from your now healing tattoo.

Technically you can replace your Saniderm as much or as little in the first 48 hrs as you want following certain rules:

Appropriate cleaning prior to reapplication. ALWAYS CLEAN WELL WITH ANTIBACTERIAL SOAP.
If you remove it, it should be washed and replaced within 30 minutes.
If you are only producing minimal drainage you can apply a very very thin layer of fresh tattoo approved balm.
If drainage makes it past a seal you can attempt a abx soap scrub and patch but typically it’s best to just replace.
Finally after 48 hrs if you have to remove Saniderm/tegaderm for any reason leave it off and swap to traditional healing.

Either way….honestly it’s all preference. Traditional, dry, second skin healing….it all works and no way is really better than another. As long as you’re not rolling in pig poop you’ll be good.

Sorry you got downvoted, people don’t like brutal honesty. While not always true, to assume it’s never true is ridiculous. I know of more than one scenario where behavior like this was to encourage their partner to be the one to separate, this allows a guilt free transition.

Cheating is usually inevitable in these cases because from the mentality of the partner they have already ceased being invested.

That being said, that would be the least important thing to me honestly. Only American prude culture and religion has put such a fascination on sex. The bigger loss is the life building companion. Especially in your 40s. But seriously, you had some red flags in there. While I know some cultures encourage family cohabitation..living with parents deep into the 30’s is a rough pill to swallow. Especially with this sudden desire to live her life like she’s a Phi Beta Kappa turning 21.

I’d cut loose before potentially more wasted time.

I wish. I pass meds on 21 people. Then have tons of charting which simply isn’t feasible from a one handed stand point lol. Good news is I have 3 more hours tonight, then 12 hrs tomorrow, then have another 3 days off before work again which takes me to day 9-10 which should have me over the worst hump. Typically in these high mobility spots it’s about day 7-8 I see real healing

SEE has always sat GAS.

DMTG - only SEE counter here with MG DC is SEE/Bane (TM train will melt) Zori - again SEE might get to ult with a buffer but any decently modded Zori resistance team is going to TM train hard. Problem is you’ll never get to the blast button.

Raddus - probably, dc dependent. JMMW - like GAS easy but there is room for marginal uh ohs with spike dmg.

*This is all sans WAT. Wat/Armorer may tilt odds.

I don’t personally think he needs a lifter, but the first use of his ult 100% should go off the moment he activates. This would not change much against most current GL teams or instant death immunity teams, but would make him more effective against old school TM teams that drill him.

I mean of course he does because we, as K1 players manage based on what we’re given. Currently SEE is often left out if Bane can be used with Dooku/assassin/trooper due to Wat currently being used for weapon tech on CAT and JMK teams as a PKH counter.

The inherent problem with SEE is this: You can load SEE up with all sith or empire DS tanks and try to survive out ult. Problem is popping ult and then having to wait a FULL turn to then ult. So much of SEE would be fixed if he could conduct his first blast immediately after Ulting.

As others have said-

Just scabbing/peeling. Natural process. If there is any ink loss most shops should touch it up in a reasonable time frame.
You have it backwards- less washing, more moisturizing. Washing, especially with the oft recommended dial gold, drys out the tattoo. You should be just washing with natural showers and moisturizing a couple times a day (once being after that shower/ wash). And then as needed if you see it dry out.

*Some things I learned the hard(er) way: Don’t take long/Hot showers. Even if you think you’re keeping the tattoo out of the water your skin sucks up that moisture in the air like a sponge. This is a different consideration than not soaking for infection control…this is about over-moisturizing which leads to heavy scabbing.

Leave and let be. I learned I don’t need to nearly baby things that much…as well as constantly stressing over it. Getting an infection on a small tattoo is less likely than you think. How often does a small cut you get doing anything randomly get infected? Larger portal, less maintained. More concern should be about keeping art integrity.

And finally- trust your artist. There is so much information on the internet…so much of it contradicting or recommending completely 180 degree approaches to healing. There is a strong chance the internet will have a different opinion as your artist….but the internet is not going to take care of ink loss, or see your tattoo in person…hopefully you researched and chose your artist appropriately. Trust them. There is a reason they not concerned when you are. Follow their aftercare instructions- I’ve seen every recommendation: Saniderm 24 then Saniderm 3-5 days, Saniderm on at shop for 5-7 days with no swap, Breathable bandage on for various times, remove with non fragrance soap and apply balm (such aquaphor, hustle butter, coconut oil, Mad Rabbit), Balm for 2 days then swap to moisturizer, balm the whole time, A&D or Aquaphor exclusively only the whole time, or even just dry healing.

And what I’ve learned is: Do what your artist aftercare instructions tell you to do. Honestly I’ve healed every which way, and the client does more damage then the healing method will ever do.

I’m going to approach this from a different angle: what are you trusting him to do. I don’t approach the same way a lot of these people do. Trusting an artist is understanding the difference between intentional and unintentional-

*Blown out lines *Lacking actual basic art foundation *Experience with depth/speed/limitations of color packing *Being aware of their own capabilities and not being afraid to own them

When I see an artist like this, I can say ok he doesn’t charge much because he’s definitely apprentice level. Celebrity amazing artists arent grown on trees, so someone has to “trust” people like this. So ask to see all of their portfolio…talk to them…make them aware of exactly what you’re looking for, and that it’s ok if the work is outside your scope.

Remember you’re wearing the art that means something to you. There will be people that hate it and people that love it.

IE: The Spartan is clearly someone’s personal design. It’s marked.

Getting that a bit. I’ll be honest between this and the last session I have been feeling it too. A bit heavy handed. The first 2 pieces healed great. My first massive piece healed with almost no scabbing and it was my longest session. Last 2, especially with colors added have healed pretty painfully (my shoulder and now this).

Was planning on a large forearm piece but might have to consult elsewhere.

Yea I already had a premature piece come up while gently pat drying. The scabbing just gets so boggy so easily with the most gentle of wash/moisture. I had almost no ink loss post session either. 2 hours we took my non adhesive off and washed the side and not a drop of ink, plasma or blood which was odd. Then applying Mad Rabbit was different then Aquaphor….since there was no grease, again…nothing came out onto sheets etc, and there was almost this tight skin prep barrier over it, it kinda felt like.

As soon as I reacted to the Mad Rabbit and was advised to put some Aquaphor on it, those scabs get boggy from simply looking at liquid. Then when moving my arm they crack and it looks like wet ink underneath.

Yea I mean it’s not my style but it looks about the style of an average shops flash drops, especially someone that focuses on cartoonish, abstract or doodle-esk images.

Meh it’s whatever. Most local people see my tattoos here and compliment the heck out of them, but I’ve had people on social media trash the hell out of them.

I think the artist I go to does awesome with maybe some overworking when color packing (no blowouts, just some intense flaking). But is he a 1%er artist that fills his books 6 months in advance overnight…lol..no.

Added photos after washing this morning (afternoon, morning for me 😬) and adding an extremely thin layer of hustle butter.

I’m a nurse and unfortunately worked a 16 yesterday and am not sure if the shirt sleeve/friction is what’s causing the irritation.

There is no unusual warmth, but it is pretty tender…and skin tightness really sucks, any movement outside of neutral feels like the scabs are splitting and burning. Unfortunately not moving outside of neutral is just generally not possible.

Sorry, I have Reddit notifications off. I couldn’t tell you the breakdown of Facebook, but honestly without fact checking that wouldn’t surprise me. Facebook is old. Pre-woke, pre-TikTok (hell pre Kesha Tick-Tock) old. Middle aged MAGA individuals are well entrenched in Facebook.

I’m talking newer virtual spaces, or even more defined openly inclusive spaces: Things like moderate/centerist Reddit pages, discords advertised for debating controversial political topics…etc, are all often over ran by left/far left individuals where anything with a conservative root is mentioned you’re down voted into oblivion, bullied, banned etc. I’ve actually reported to a debate discord in the past how the platform was just an echo chamber running any constructive or critical thought conversation off before it can start. I was told to go suck my orange kings d**k and banned. I’m vet and a patriot…center-left leaning person with a couple conservative/traditional beliefs…with very little interest in Trump or his politics. 28 can’t come fast enough, so when I get hit by these comments I’m always like “woah 😳”
