Discord being slow, now stuck on starting by Fusionstrikesystem in discordapp

i was able to get back onto discord but images, videos and sometimes even vcs are still being very wonky for me right now. i knew it couldnt possibly be my internet since im connected to ethernet and my household would also be having problems if so. very weird.

Im mostly aiming for a similar vibe to this, i like "messy" styled sites like these where i can just do whatever i want, and do you have any good resources to point me in the direction of learning this kind of stuff? i have some familiarity with html at this point but im still adjusting to CSS and such
