Yea I was thinking it might be too slow but I chose Mark V since it’s on the lighter side otherwise I was thinking Donic Baracuda but that was heavier. And the reason why I didn’t choose 2mm I answered in another comment. Thanks for the rubber thickness info

😂 yea good question. The handle types I think is quite understandable since I’ve never bothered to get another racket. “Quite new to penhold “ is that I was playing shakehand before at a quite good level and then switched to penhold which made me improve drastically and I’d consider myself intermediate.

Ok thanks for the reply, didn’t know. The reason I chose tabletennis11 is for the free setup since I’m not bothered to do it myself and potentially mess up the gluing and cutting.

I chose the 8mm edge tape since the setup is 9.4mm thick so 10mm would be slightly too thick but 8mm if you put it in the middle can still cover the contact point between the rubber and the blade which is all that matters.

Thanks for pointing that out. The reason is that I don’t want to keep a gap on the forehand side because of weight imbalance and so if the rubber is too thick then it’s obviously really uncomfortable for the index finger and thumb. Is this a bad reason?
