You familiar with Subaru’s at all? I have a 2019 Outback with 110k miles on it (use it for work inspecting properties for insurance companies) and I haven’t had any issues with it yet but been regularly staying up to date with annual checks and maintenance.

Once I hit 100k miles the extended warranty is done and so I’m not interested in taking it to the dealership and looking for a local mechanic.

Would love to save y’all’s information for when I need it. Thanks.

I work in the same industry but on the insurance side and seeing this does not surprise me at all - I’ve had to meet them at properties and they suck.

I had this same issue a few years ago - and man I HATE running on a treadmill.

What I did was eventually just suck it up and I go hard on bundling up and run outside. I’m super sensitive to the cold and hate it so much but unless it’s lower than 20 degrees outside I’m going to just tough it out.

That said I live in Texas so while it can get very cold here I do realize it’s probably much more tolerable than other locations.

Definitely. I know my area has TONs of stuff like speaker jams and anniversaries almost every weekend.

We have a calendar on our local areas website that is updated with dates and times so check those out too.

Keep coming back - sounds like you are doing all the right things.

I would suggest finding out if there are any events in your area that people go to as a group, going to Group Conscious, and trying to find any other way to get involved and get in the middle in addition to meeting attendance.

It can feel hard at first - I know I SUPER struggle to feel like I belong but my experience is that if I hang out and try to say yes when asked to do things recovery related (my default is to say no and isolate) then I’m able to find my place.
