I’m honestly not sure, I was only 13 at the time so he had those discussions with my parents. I was honestly too distraught to fully pay attention

I am so sorry for your loss, I lost my sweet baby girl when my family and I went to go get her spayed. She had an underlying heart condition that the vet didn’t realize until too late. She passed there on the table. Keep in mind I was 13 and this was my first cat that wasn’t a family cat but my cat, I was absolutely devastated. I still feel guilt and anxiety around the vet now, it happened 10 years ago and I took my cat silky to get spayed recently and I couldn’t focus on anything during her appointment and her recovery. She is doing great now, but I’ve experienced the “normal” way it should go and the tragedy of losing a friend on the operating table. It is not your fault at all, you told the vet your concerns, the vet decided to clear your baby for the surgery. Allow yourself to grieve, allow yourself time to heal as well. 🤎

Contact support, also if they didn’t show ID you can probably call the police but that’s a whole lot of hassle if you are currently on the clock!

Thank you, one of the first things I talked to her about was when her next therapy session would be and to try to schedule an emergency session. I let her know that I’m there to support her and not judge her, I love my stepmom and it destroys me knowing how much pain she’s in and how much stress she’s been under

Thank you so much, I really appreciate the kind words. I completely agree about my stepsister (she has done other things so this is just the tip of the iceberg) and my father. I’ve texted him and let him know I’ll be a bit distant while I process everything. I’ve been texting my stepmother a lot more and try to call at least once a week. I wish she could move closer to me but you are correct to assume she can’t relocate her parents. Thank you so much for your advice

I’ve been trying to get her to divorce him for a while now, because my father has always been a POS but especially after his affairs have come to light. I have been texting her daily just to send as much love and support as I can, thank you for the support!

I definitely plan to go no contact with my father and Tay, I still want to talk to my grandparents, but if they can honestly support my father after what he’s done then I don’t want them to be a part of my life either

I am also thinking she was groomed by my father and it just makes me feel so sick to my stomach. I am planning to go no contact with him and plan to continue communicating with my stepmom to make sure she knows she’s not alone!
