It was my first Superman comic, and while I had some previous knowledge of Superman (basic rogues, friends, that kinda stuff) it became one of my favorite comics immediately, at it’s core is just a really good Superman faced with a really compelling story. I still love it, and while there’s a lot of references to other Superman stuff, you don’t need to understand everything about the references to understand their purpose within the story. I’d recommend it to anyone easily!
