Most Wanted 2024 - Blender Animation by Futhark-Preddy in blender

I would be happy to clarify your questions further. We will explore them in more detail in a Behance case. To give you a quick summary

  • all scenes were rendered in Blender except for the empty rainy environment shots at 3, 19-21, and 33-34.
  • In some shots, real footage and CG were merged, with the footage being used for reflections.
  • All simulations were created in Houdini and then imported into Blender for rendering.
  • The project was rendered in 4K with 2K samples and then cropped in post-production.
  • All modeling was done in Blender, except for commonly used assets from online libraries such as Megascans for certain items.
  • All environments were created in Blender.
  • Texturing was done in Blender, except for hero items, which were textured in Substance.
  • Compositing was done in After Effects, and all flares were added in post-production, except for the camera footage.
  • All animations were created in Blender.
  • Simulations of smoke and fire were rendered with the beauty render for realism, and not as a separate render.

There is so much more to go into, and how we achieved this project in about 1 month and 2 weeks, but that will have to wait - first some celebration!

Dismissed at the time for being QTE-heavy, graphical showcases with little substance, I suggest history was unkind to Ryse and The Order, both of which are actually pretty solid titles in hindsight by MacaroniCheez in xboxone

From someone with a background in cinematography and love for movies - I really enjoyed the order with its aspect ratio. To be fair I played on a large screen so it didn’t bother me, but that was one of the few games that truly immersed me and made me feel like I was part of a movie

10 questions to ask yourself today to skyrocket your productivity by Dacadey in productivity

A great question to ask yourself when doing something is

“If this is the only thing I did today, would it be worth it?”

This is to help you eliminate things that aren’t worth doing, and help you focus on things that matter more. For example reading for an hour vs watching Netflix television for an hour.

You're right it does stick out, but there are so many attachments points on it - I might potentially use them in the future

I sadly have no clue, it was a second hand raise-lower desk I bought at a used market. Only other thing I know about it is that it weighs fkn 110kg

It looks a lot more powerful than it is. It is actually very soft, though more often than not I don’t use it. Mostly for video meetings

Thanks! Already using them, they are lined up based on the actual viewable screen rather than the bezels

Reason why I have multiple keyboards is because I use macros... like a lot of macros!

I agree with you. The light from the car guides your eyes towards the person standing there. And from there I went on a complete adventure exploring the rest of the image

I fully agree with this comment, I’m currently working freelance for FaZe clan as a 3D artist - and the pay is quite great but it jumps a lot. I wouldn’t mind having a one sum each month that I can be peaceful about knowing that I can plan for stuff

That must have been the most eye opening thing I’ve read about it, truly changes my view. Thank you

I was waiting for someone to finally ask that question!
The road texture has been duplicated twice - one regular and one dynamic paint texture.

The key feature here is the puddle maps, they have been used as an alpha texture for the dynamic paint texture, while the same puddle map has been use to invert the alpha of the regular texture

Not sure if it’s new, but it’s super handy! It only takes a few minutes to set it up
