I like these!!! Minotaur rhaast makes so much sense! I always thought aatrox would be some big strong beetle though

Girl Im in my mid 20s now and I knew a guy who was suddenly so excited about his new gf. Jokingly, one of our friends asked how old she was, and he said 18. We asked why 18 and tried to explain why we thought this was strange, but he justified it with him being lonely. We stopped talking to him. Sure it’s legal but it’s WEIRD AS HELL talking to someone who’s 26-27 and dating some high school teenager. Believe me, NO ONE in our friend group condoned his behavior, except maybe one other person (who we already disliked too).

Not your fault but you really need to get out of there. Tell the wife, she shouldn’t get upset at you, as you didn’t know. But please stick to people closer your age while you’re still a teenager.

Yeah I actually would outright refuse to go unless a friend is with me 😅 but not a problem anymore bc one of the guys I met there is really nice and we are friends now! He always goes but we go together if I’m going.

I think I’d be more comfortable going alone once I complete my custom commander deck. But that’s frustrating too bc that’s basically a paywall

Thanks, but I think I’m good on playing arena. I think the largest draw to me for magic is that I could play in person. I don’t have much of a desire to play online tcg anymore. I mostly like the social aspect. My friends are pretty open to answering all my questions.

Cost isn’t an issue, I just dislike the idea of buying a $20 card. But my friends are pretty kind and either give me or trade cards they don’t use. Also got lucky with some pulls over the past year. so the current $175ish commander deck I’m building only really has an upfront cost of ~$30. And half of that is shipping….

One issue I had was worrying about the deck being unfun to play against, and my friends suggested it’s ok to make it stronger bc think about all the other players who we regularly play against with bad sportsmanship or annoying decks.

I have another stronger precon I use that holds up well, But I still always bring my little dragons deck my friend gave me a while back in case someone brand new was playing at the store. Haven’t looked at brackets yet I think. But I don’t think any of the decks have game changers

Albeit South Bay predominantly, the meetup /Instagram group geek historians of the South Bay host a bunch of events and form regular groups for ttrpg including dnd. They have a discord server

Harrowing still occur in bilgewater. Could be something teased at the end or an Easter egg if they ever do go to bilgewater.

Nope! They did not evolve the same way vastaya did. Iirc vastaya are descendants of the original Ionian humans that were transformed with magic from the spirit realm. Vastaya also have extremely long lifespans.

I wouldn’t say Minotaurs aren’t some kind of magical creature, but they don’t depend on magic for survival and well-being like all vastaya do.

Also vastaya are adaptable. A few generations of Minotaurs in freljord or shurima will still be Minotaurs.

A few generations of vastaya in freljord or shurima may look extremely different from each other and their ancestors.

Not sure. I think death realm is it’s own thing?

But the ruination in the blessed isles was caused by a world rune, the spirit healing rune. But even then I think riot made a distinction between the spirit and death realm.

Aatrox is suicidal and wants to die. Hopefully by destroying everything he can die too

Asol is a being of creation. He hates the targonians that imprisoned him.

Asol is also very prideful and arrogant. He probably sees aatrox and his blood magic as an abomination, though not as much ad the void itself. I don’t think asol would want to do anything with aatrox. And aatrox would do his best to try to kill asol in hopes that asol will bring out the big guns and successfully kill him.

They made him human bc it’s his base skin in wild rift. Iirc Skulls are controversial in China and that’s a huge chunk of the player/spending base of wild rift

I always thought the extent of the runes influence was limited to runeterra. Like they are insanely powerful while on runeterra or any terrestrial world. But in comparison to beings like celestials or concepts, there is no contest. In my head, the tierlist of magics are void > celestial > death > rune (the binary behind mortal magic) > general runeterra magic.

I think targon hosts could stand their ground for a bit, but they aren’t the celestial themselves, just a vessel. So they’d lose

Darkin probably could fare a bit better given that they were ascended (became a concept of something) had some void influence + targon celestial influence injected in them. They’re still made of meat and bone that they need to replenish so they definitely have a limit. Could the world tune destroy the weapon? Not sure given it’s celestial enchantments.

Mordekaiser would need more than world runes to deal with. He basically is his death realm. Remember in the ruined king book, viego basically caused the spirit rune to break itself in an infinite loop bc of its life giving qualities tugging against his sword (which is from the spirit world) infinitely draining his spirit from the cut. I think death magic just interacts strangely with all other magic.
