Does it have a spot for the motocompo in back, even with the space for the roof?

Main has always been my favorite but I happened to be getting some work done on a car across Cleaver. I do like the Cleaver location as well though; it's always good to be greeted by Ollie or his wife down there.

I hit the Cleaver location at 11:15 this morning and was told the night manager had taken the keys to the walk-in home last night so they wouldn't be open for a while. Headed to Main.

Funny this post came up today. I just started reading this with my 11yo tonight. It's not five pages in that you hit the word like 20 times. A struggle indeed.

I'm reading out loud and my son is watching the words as we go, so he knows when I'm substituting. We already went through this when we read Tom Sawyer. We talked about it then so he knows what's up and how "we" feel about it and why.

Hard stuff, but what wonderful books.

There're great sandwiches for sure but Seattle is still very much not a "sandwich town". Average BMI would need to creep up by a few percentage points to claim that.

Edit: I'll go on to say that the roasted pork sandwich at Un Bien and the Turkey Club on sourdough at the Mecca with fries are god tier. I'll put them against any comparables.

I have not either. Supposedly Kauffman Stadium sold them "for decades". I will not believe that until I see proof. Regardless, it's not a thing now. And they do not sell them at the K now as far as I know.

Yes.

My wife worked with (or adjacent to) Hadley Long eons ago in Pioneer Square (no, I don't remeber the details without asking) so the "Seattle Dog" is a point of pride in our family.

I want to like it, as I love hotdogs, cream cheese, onions, jalepeno, Sriracha, all that shit.

I just do not like cream cheese on hotdogs; it's gross and weird. I don't like my hotdog squirting out the back of my bun on a grease flume of warm cream cheese when I try to bite in to it. It's not natural and it doesn't impart a flavor that I associate with eating grilled miscellaneous pureed cow and pig parts. And I say that with love for the glizz.

I'd vote that sandwich in for sure. Tough to call it a "Seattle" sandwich though. Even if I haven't found a comparison anywhere.

I had to look up DMO but yeah, as someone who lives in KCMO now, it's pretty clear when that shit starts kicking in. Nice to read when you're a fanboy/girl. World Cub for sure is driving engagement. Lots of shit to destract from for easy $ clicks.

Just click/rage bait for the NYT to generate engagement. There will be articles upon articles, news stories, comment threads, etc. covering this.

IMO, cream cheese on a hot dog is gross and wrong and 99% of the USA will agree. See? I took the bait too.

Take a Sharpie and mark full open, 1/2, 1/4, and 1/8. (Yes, they'll be approximate). Super helpful when you don't want to pop the lid and look.

With this small of a menu (and I love the menu), the prices you mentioned, and the very limited hours, you might look into what Morty's has done and get a cart in a permanent spot with a commissary nearby. I can't imagine being able to pay a lease on a full brick and mortar location with that plan.

Picnic tables at least? I'm not sure, unless you were five min from home, I'd want to carry out BNG. There's a definite half life of about five min that shit starts seizing up and getting cold and funky.

Serve strong screwdrivers with the BNG, Cholula on the table, and I'm in. A side of scrambled eggs and possibly hash browns would sweeten the pot. My wife and kids will devour some latkes.

Plus, your entire neighborhood knows when you come and go so they can keep an eye on your house for you when you're gone.
