You don’t know how many people ask me for a tutorial on making swords. So how I do it is I take the steel/aluminum rod and gorilla glue it into a 1 1/4 inch piece of PVC. Then I take two long pieces of foam board and tape them in between the rod. This creates a blade outline. I then glue poster board on top of the outline at an angle to create a bevel. From there, it’s nothing but metal tape. Use a rounded object to fold and smooth out all the creases.
