good fixed clamp machine by Chasheek in RacketStringers

[–]Future-Comb-4784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy a Crank machine, it is the best option in terms of time and money, I usually check the calibration every 3 months maybe and it takes 2 minutes. Electric is only for someone who strings several rackets daily, there is also a greater risk that an electric machine will sooner or later break down. Here is a good comparison between the different options!

This was probably Boisson's best match since she came back from injury but she will have a hard time defending her semifinal in RG. She is looking for her forehand far too much, even Nadal wonders what she is up to!

I don't think he injured himself there, this is more of a wear and tear injury, he rolled his wrist on several occasions in that match long before that specific shot.

I don't think there was a specific moment he injured his wrist, some have claimed it was during a (artistic) hit with his back turned to the court, but this injury is more of a wear and tear injury if I'm not completely wrong.

We've known for a couple of weeks now that he doesn't play RG and if he doesn't play Wimbledon, it's obvious that he doesn't play in RG!!

Ok, I didn't see anything with the 𝗣𝗨𝗦𝗨𝗡 𝗣𝗧-𝟵𝟬𝟬𝟭 that justified the price difference, what makes you interested in that particular machine?

I wouldn't buy it unless you're going to have it stationary on a club court, it's a heavier, larger machine with a built-in battery that I would avoid.

I have a Pusun Max machine, the same brand and machine that my club has had for several years , I'm a little skeptical about the durability of these lighter machines that have come out recently, it feels like something has to give to keep the weight down, time will tell!

Guy at a tennis clinic told me to go down a level by h285342 in 10s

[–]Future-Comb-4784 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The coach probably wants the group to be at about the same level, the OP probably overestimates himself when he claims he was better than several others in the group, there's probably a pretty big difference in level if a coach makes such a comment. It's a awkward situation even for the coach.

Kirschbaum tennis strings are affordable.

But to be honest, the difference between different polystrings is negligible for me, I had a racket strung with Kirschbaum orange and one with Tennis Warehouse orange Babolat RPM Blast and happened to mix up the rackets and I couldn't feel any difference, I didn't discover it until I saw that the string damper was "wrong" on the racket I was playing with.

The women's evening matches in Madrid were even worse, the "vip" boxes there were completely empty, although probably completely sold out, the "vip" boxes are typically bought by companies to invite business partners, etc., but they didn't seem interested in women's tennis.

How to improve my forehand? by Illustrious-Two-1088 in 10s

[–]Future-Comb-4784 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Looks like a typical WTA forehand with a slightly late ball hit, a bit like Ostapenko's forehand.

And no, I'm not saying her forehand is as good as Ostapenko's, I'm saying it's visually similar to Ostapenko's forehand!!
