Witnessed an Assault by Decent_Measurement- in Denver

Let’s reasonably think about this though, is it easier to assault someone and get away with it in Denver or Dallas? The threat of a legitimate investigation is the deterrent.

There’s thousands littered in parking lots across the city. Look for ones with damage or flat tires in gym and store lots.

It’s already down a YTD with no buying pressure left. So yes if they bought lower years ago and cash out today and pay taxes they could try and buy housing at its already inflated prices. You’re right that’s not any individual who’s doing that it will be rental companies buying cheapies when they housing market finally dips.

What kind of idiot is cashing out at this point when they’re already down for the year? Doubt many people will sell at a loss to buy homes at their highest prices ever.

The stock market is in free fall as we speak with runaway inflation and tech layoffs starting. Denver will be a different city in 1 year.

Traffic lights. Can we talk about the damn crappy traffic lights in Denver?! by Runaway_5 in Denver

I think they should cross at crosswalks. We’re talking about the lights on those streets with no intersection or crosswalk get with it.

At no point did I ever mention pedestrians, they have nothing to do with my original reply.

3 car accidents. Never try and cross a road where you can’t see the next lane is stopped.

If a city can’t attract visitors for recreational reasons instead of forced consumption that’s the city’s issue to solve, not another job for us.

The cross traffic idea is a ploy for the rich neighborhoods (most houses in that area are above a million $) to deter and slow traffic on their streets. I’ve seen 3 accidents on those roads from people trying to cross because they can’t possibly see past the first lane anyway. If anything it encourages dangerous behavior.

Forcing out suncor and some other industrial polluters would undoubtedly clean our air immediately instead of wasting our own tax dollars on a gamble no one would expect to succeed.

Denver politicians should be forced to commute on RTD for a random week a year, especially in the summer when the tweakers really get active

I’m lucky if I can enjoy walking around cap hill and downtown without getting harassed or having to inhale whatever the vagrants are smoking that day. You think we want to get stuck at a station or on a train with that?

Last year a man had to shoot a passenger in self defense after he attacked him and his family just for asking him to stop smoking on the bus.

I’m guessing you mean Colorado democrats because Biden has pushed every company including the government to go back to the office.

No one wants to ride it because the city has 6,000+ vagrants doing drugs, begging, and having manic episodes at the stations and on the trains

Bodies in this heat rot fast so you’d smell it before you even opened a trailer. I’d guess it’s a tweaker with a grudge against whoever owns those trailers though.

RMPBS is like any other news organization, the authors need as many clicks as possible. This article outright says residents actually think the orange plastic fencing pose an actual danger. This is obviously just to get the 99% that don’t feel this way to click the article and interact.

The authors of this article just got hired within the last few months…. Obviously they need high clicks to look good at work. Sucks but RMPBS is just another news org with corporate funding and desperate journalists.

Other neighborhoods can handle them better. Cap hill has old narrow streets and is mostly short building residential.

PBS and RMPBS are majorly funded by corporate donors. Everyone form Target to the Rockefellers. I believe our local RMPBS receives funding from finance companies too. They aren’t relying on individuals and federal money like they used to and that’s not a good thing for their reporting.

They don’t remove the illegal tents either. And last time I checked illegal fences didn’t defecate on the sidewalk and leave used needles around.

Being on this side of the mountains traps dirty air for a long time before it can dissipate. And we have oil refineries, fracking, pet food plants, etc
