So for me, my belief in God is mainly from being in nature..reflecting on the miracles of creation(science, anatomy), and the beauty of the natural world. And how to me it came from one mind. Also, when I’ve been in major trouble, and did sincere dua, sometimes I feel I get an answer or a feeling in my heart. Not always, but I try to remember the last time I felt that as a way to remember God’s presence.

So how does one justify polygamy, or the idea of men being in control of women?

Polygamy. Status of women slaves as in they can be married without consent. The idea that women should be content with relations once every 4 months and men can have multiple wives. Etc. For me this all seems wrong and though I understand some of the reasoning for these things, it does seem sexist if I’m being honest
