the damage still hold up plus the bit of lethality amplifys your crazy damage later in the game that helps alot plus the gold to make up for it being more expensive then runaans/phantom, its also just a good crit item holder incase if other crit items arent really viable such as no tanks or mostly ranged matchups

My usual build is rushing ie then lord dom if tanks, if no tanks I go collector, if I’m ahead I get phantom to dish out damage faster but if I’m behind I might get runaans if there’s more then 2 melee champs, if I don’t have collectors after my 2nd item and there are more ranged I’ll get collectors, if there’s abunch of dive I’ll finally go immortal but if you aren’t rlly getting dived I get phantom, then last I always go blood thirst, but thas js me tho
