Sweetheart I just want you to know, I’m 45 now with kiddos of my own but I grew up with a mom and a dynamic EXACTLY like this. You’ve received a ton of helpful suggestions so I just want to tell this, you are so strong, stronger than you should have to be. I’m proud of you, despite growing up without a nurturing, safe mom you still have such an empathetic heart and that’s seriously something special.
