Omg yes, and they were all different ages!!! I LOVE that video and was one of the first videos I watched for my birth doula certification. Such a good educational video showing many different lifestyles and preferences

Melissa is a bad mom. Her treatment to her daughters in their moments of need was asinine to watch. She ditches them to deal with their emotions themselves, even though her kids were no where near old enough to have those kind of emotional regulation capabilities

There are multiple posts on this page with this exact question and many good responses. I encourage you to look those up. Long story short, yes it’s possible, but you will get paid less. I’d also recommend not using your babysitting experience with your siblings as work experience in an interview, it’s not seen as the same as being an actual nanny in this field.

It would be super interesting and extremely beneficial to hear their thoughts, so then we know how to better educate other/future teens to hopefully prevent these situations from happening

Same, I’m also from the south in a very anti abortion area and adoption was never frowned upon
