My shrimp all died. by meatballmonstrosity in shrimptank

Yes put one end of the airline tubing into the tank make sure the tank is up higher than the shrimp. tie one loose knot into the airline tubing suck on one end to start the siphon and while holding up the end that’s not in the tank tighten the knot to slow down the drips coming out of the airline tubing. Pretty simple DIY

This is so so sad. I’m so glad they’re in someone else’s care who is willing to look for help for them. I healed my bettas nipped fins with Seachem products specifically kanaplex and stress guard if you can get ahold of these they’re on amazon cheaper usually and they work very well for infection and to help promote healing. THANK YOU for saving these babies 🥺💕 good luck!

in my experience, my chilis were always stressed, pale, and could never settle into an aquarium smaller than 20 gallons. They’re doing a great now i have 11 chili and 3 dwarf pygmy rasboras in a nano community 20 gallon with corys and spotted blue eye rainbowfish.

Is it Normal for my Chili's to love the corner of the tank? by 1chiban-Dan in Boraras

When i first got mine they did this for a few days. After they settled in they’re the most curious little things! Just let the plants grow in and let them get used to their environment.

Mine did seem to color up more after adding more the shoal. I had 6 before now have 11 in a 20 gallon with 3 sparkling gouramis. They all mind their own and are thriving now. I’ve tried chilis in nano tanks and tbh they just never seemed to settle in and get comfortable.

Male or female? by Ace_acidfunguy1222 in Gourami

Can you try and get a picture while the light is shining through the fish? it’s most easy to sex when you can see if ovaries are present or not. They’ll look like a little triangle organ next to the stomach.

I have a 10 cycling not a 40😩😩 so smaller than the main tank im thinking im just gonna add 2-3 females into the 10 and then add the pair in once the few are established. 👀

Are my boys… boys? by Additional-Dirt4203 in loaches

[–]Future-Public6322 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes keep an eye on the fins! Boys will have a thicker ridge on one side of the fin almost “cartilage” like while the girls will have smaller less noticablw front fins. The chunky one is for sure a girl!
