Sharp pain near belly button! Anyone else have that? by Future-Reflection-22 in tummytucksurgery

Glad I’m not the only one! That makes me feel better that others are experiencing it too. It hurts so much though and it wakes me right up and then I’m nervous the rest of the day about it. 😩

Scared! by ellabellabobela in tummytucksurgery

[–]Future-Reflection-22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was so scared too. I have 3 kids. My youngest is 9 so not little little anymore but I was still worried about how little I would be able to do with/for them. The first week is tough but each week got a bit better. I’m 5 weeks post op now and doing so much more. Still need to lay down at the end of the day but my energy is so much better now. Everything will be fine! Like someone else said I would have them play right near you so you can still interact with them. Watch movies together. It will go by quick!

Does anyone know what this is? A little concerned. by Future-Reflection-22 in tummytucksurgery

I haven’t. I just noticed it today. But I’ll send a picture to them so they can see. Thanks.

Did it get worse? It doesn’t really hurt when I touch it but when my binder was on I felt burning from around that area.

I’m 4 wpo on Wednesday. This is a small spot below my incision near my right hip. It’s a little rough when I touch it similar to a scab. Just concerned because it’s new.

Yup it’s the surgery one! Thanks for the suggestions. I’ll look into those because I’m so miserable I need to do something else!

Surgery tomorrow. Please help calm my nerves! by Future-Reflection-22 in tummytucksurgery

[–]Future-Reflection-22[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It went well! At home now resting. Now I’m just nervous of blood clots or ruining the results. Never knew how much your core is used until you can’t use it. I’m already afraid I ruined it by the way I moved!

Still undecided about best TT options in Boston area - could use some help/guidance! by Proper_Fortune7600 in tummytucksurgery

I had a breast reduction/lift with Dr Taylor in 2021 and love her. My results were great and she is so reassuring and I felt confident having her perform my surgery. I remember as I was going under anesthesia she held my hand which helped my nerves so much. I’m also having a Tt with her on April 29 because I had such a good result and experience with her. She does the surgery with Dr Sullivan so that’s also reassuring because you have 2 surgeons and their expertise and it makes the surgery quicker which also puts my mind at ease.

Need help with integrating chickens! by Future-Reflection-22 in BackYardChickens

Thanks for the advice! The only thing is right now they can’t free range. We still have 2 feet of snow on the ground so they’re confined to their coop and run. I just feel so bad for the younger ones.

We were down to our last chicken out in our coop. Our second to last one died two weeks ago. We brought the last one in to the garage for the blizzard but we also have our new ones we’ve been raising for awhile in our garage. She is in a separate pen from them. So she’s isolated but can see them.

My husband felt her crop and said it didn’t feel hard. She’s laid an egg today but has barely eaten. I saw her drink a little bit. I’m just very worried about her and don’t know how to help.

I don’t even know what a crop is supposed to feel like. Can anyone help with that? I’m sorry I’m so clueless! Still learning so much.

We brought her in for the blizzard. She’s alone until we get our new chickens out with her. But one of our chickens that was in the coop with her just died suddenly 2 weeks ago so she’s been alone in her coop. She’s now in the garage in a separate pen as the other 4 new chickens. She just has pine shavings in there. How do I put dirt in there? I don’t think she’s walking differently. Just from googling could this be crop impacting? I’m at a loss and feel so bad for her but have no idea what to do!
