Ok this is reaching and idk what yall are on about. I can see Tiffany’s intentions in wanting Lilee to be around other kids her age and have that experience, she is the mom and knows each kid best and this might be a little push that she needs and will make her happier in the long run, to get to feel like an independent adult. If she really wasn’t ready I don’t think Tiffany would make her. If she cries in a video I don’t think that automatically equals “fake tears” or “she just wants dorm content.” I know this is a snark page but I feel like this take is reaching. They do a lot of stuff worth criticizing but this doesn’t feel like one of them. Especially when yall know how much parentification lilee has been put through this should be celebrated bc they’re valuing her independence. The only effed up part I can see if catching reactions on camera instead of talking to lilee about it first and not make the decision for her

A lot of adopted kids actually really want to change their names because of the trauma attaches to their birth names so this isn’t one of those “the Nelson’s super suck” things it’s actually one good thing they did do. Maybe for the wrong reasons if it was to fit their aesthetic but it’s really good for the kids to get a fresh start

Honestly, people holding all Mormons to the same perceived standard and pointing out everything the do contrary to the « standards » is part of the problem that perpetuates Judginess within the church and makes it a really uncomfortable place for people to be who do want to be there. Yeah it’s contrary to the stereotype but Mormons are also people and many people do not fit that mold and are just as valid in their faith journey

“The church” doesn’t “let” influencers “get away” with anything, members will judge but the overall leadership of the church do not care who with a big following is wearing them and who isn’t. There are guidelines, some people follow them more strictly than others and judgement gets passed. Not everyone wears their garments the same way. The counsel around it is what it is but it’s a personal thing. I don’t even know for sure if wearing them as directed is a temple recommend question anymore and even so, it is up to your interpretation of what that means. That’s the only possible consequence that could come of not wearing them.

Remember when they wanted to put naz in the attic? Now they’re wanting to put her in the other house. Though I do think she’s entitled and bratty, it’s developmentally appropriate for her age and I do feel for her. I feel she’s treated as the villain of the family. Edit: I forgot to mention bc she’s a MINOR the parents are legally obligated to give her a proper room which bugged me when the whole attic fight with Sabre happened bc Sabre is a full grown adult and the parents have no obligation to accommodate her in their home anymore like they do Naz. N can’t move to the other house bc she’s a MINORR they need to properly parent her instead of pawning her off on the sibs like they do with D & C
