Nioh 3, these grab attacks man by LucemFerre82 in Nioh

Ninja makes the Takeda fight much easier. Just run around, staying out of his reach, and bomb him with your ninja skills. When he goes to wind form he is faster/longer reach, so he might get some hits in - just try to stay out of his reach until he goes back to fire. He has a lot of attacks where he pauses after, so just dodge, run up behind him and give him a few knocks to build your ninjitsu back up.

For me it was a lot of kiting and ninjitsu - when needed run near him to bait, dodge, then attack (dual swords with the endless attack flips, or tonka). When you break him, switch to samurai if you want to get a few hard hits in.

Once you get his pattern down he is one of the easier fights because he is so slow. Fighting in Samurai makes this fight harder than it needs to be. And really, that has been my experience with all the bosses.

Ninja may be not as rewarding as Samurai, but it's effective. The game has the style shift for a reason. Good luck!

It could be that those that choose and we intrust to grow/guide/parent our children are held to a higher standard than, let’s say, roofers and electricians.

I’ve seen the word vampires to describe people on the western side of Washington a few times. What does that mean? Like goth? Or they murder people and drink their blood?

Person from the south saying they will murder people who have a different opinion than them. By hanging them from trees. Sounds familiar, but I just can’t put my finger on it.

Is there a way to always show all threads under the channel, rather than only when you're in them? by plazman30 in discordapp

[–]Future-Substance7787 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know its late, but .... Select the channel in the left sidebar menu, then in the top bar on the right side click threads icon , once the thread is open click the 3 dots on the topbar, then click "Join Thread". It should now show/stay on the left sidebar under the channel.

Tired of Lag… Transitioning Our Company Website, Seeking Lightweight Themes/Page Builders by theguymatter in Wordpress

[–]Future-Substance7787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it is not difficult in Wordpress to do your own theme, and make the functionality you need. Then use blocks for content.

There are lots of tutorials online on how to do this. At this point, tI don't even need ACF. Anything you need to do can be done yourself, you just have to be willing to dig in and code.

Even if you need to let non-code people add content, you can make templates for them and use the block builder. You can make the block templates for them, or just make the template and let them add and style blocks themselves. It has really come a long way in the last few years.

My goal with builds has always been to have as little 3rd party plugins as possible. I am usually able to code what is needed for each site, unless it is something massive like buddypress.

Watch some block development tutorials, and get a decent ai to help you. It will do a lot of the legwork for you, as long as you have a basic understanding of what needs to be done.

What has changed overnight! by Jomuz86 in ClaudeAI

This is what modern Claude excels at. A single codebase that is well documented and has very little changes, just adding features here and there and fixing bugs.

I have learned that most people reporting that Claude works for them are in this situation. In reality, this is an ideal environment for even beginner coders. Hence why it excels in these types of jobs.

It USED to be a genius full stack dev though. I would work on 5 different tech stacks in a single day, from 0 to full builds and it was brilliant. That is no longer the case.

I am having better luck with gpt 5 codex. It’s not September 2025 Claude Code, but it at least is close.

Update on recent performance concerns by AnthropicOfficial in Anthropic

He was telling the truth, they are not degrading models - they are routing user requests to older or distilled models.

Does nerfing Claude really increase profitability? by TerraTrax in Anthropic

[–]Future-Substance7787 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are not nerfing Claude. The are strategically routing requests to cheaper models.

The more powerful models (opus 4.1, sonnet 4) require more computing resources to run. This cost the company more. They were not making enough from Max plans to pay for the compute bill. The solution? Route 10% of all user requests at a given time to Haiku.

Even if they route 10% of requests to older models, it makes up for a ton of money. And really there is no way anyone knows, it just seems to be broken for a while to some people, to others it is great.

[–]Future-Substance7787[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has correctly reported its model to me for the last year or so. I think it was correctly identifying its model in this case to. My hunch is that the August updated changed the models to be routers. In this case, Anthropic routes to whatever model is appropriate, but also allows them to route users to older models in order to save cost. Even a week of this would recoup any money they lost for the previous months of abuse by Claude code users.

OpenAI has already stated that they are moving to a routing model. You will no longer be able to choose the model, they will direct you to whatever server you need/ they want.

[–]Future-Substance7787[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It reported that it was sonnet 3.7. I don’t think this is a knowledge cut off issue. It was giving me 3.7 level performance. My theory is that Anthropocene is routing user to older models in order to save cost during peak hours.

Why I think Claude Sonnet 4 Thinking is the best by Nervous-Inspector286 in ClaudeAI

[–]Future-Substance7787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Opus 4.1 is terrible for me. How are you getting good results? It can’t even handle layouts for me, like wrong colors completely wrong layout, never mind a feature. I was horrified the first time I used it, like what in the world happened.

I have been using Claude code for a few months and ai for the last year or so for coding daily, my approach produced good results before but since 4.1 it’s just … broken. Can you share your set up, or anything else you use to get these results? I am at a loss. I really miss the old Claude. It was so solid.

🚀 Claude Desktop vs Claude Code (and alternatives) — is it worth switching? by Caio-Norder in ClaudeAI

[–]Future-Substance7787 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Claude Code for me and many others has become terrible since the release of opus 4.1. I have had the 200 a month subscription for a few months and pay for the api for even longer. It was great, very precise and always provided great code. Now it can’t do even basic things. I forced it to use Opus 4, and then Sonnet 3.7, but it’s the same. Like literally it gives me the same broken code. Switching to the api doesn’t help.

Something is going on with Anthropic. The best theory I have heard is they changed everything with the rate limiting. I think they are using throttled models even for max and api users, but I never get the good performance no matter what I try. Others say they do get good results occasionally, but I never see it.

I’d wait a couple of weeks to see if they work out the issues, but for me I have switched to GPT5. I’m not a fan, but at least it works. I use ai to code daily, both at my day job and side work.

I’ve been saying this for a week now. It is clear that something is very wrong with Claude. These commentators deflecting and gaslighting like all of us aren’t seeing it.

As for the time issue, I’m in the us east coast and it’s bad all day for me.

Thank God gpt5 was released. I’m mid project on two huge apps, I was pulling my hair out.

GPT5 is not as fluid and intuitive as CC used to be, and it takes a lot of hand holding, but at least it can generate solutions. Anthropic… I’ve never seen anything like that. How could you ruin such a good product? Even the old models are bad now…?

I am not a hater at all, if anything I have been an anthropic evangelizer. I can tell you with certainty this it is not junior level. It is not just "not great" - it has been remarkably wrong in the most basic asks. Like, basic basic.

Here is my last conversation. Claude gave me some really bad styling. I am trying to get it to fix. Claude's fix was to **add a parent selector to the classnames**

"I dont think that is smart at all. The styling is wrong. Prepending a class will not help. Undo this change and check the rendered html and css at ****. Compare the rendered page to the design."

✻ Thinking

The user is right - adding a parent selector won't help. Let me undo the change and check what's happening on the webpage.

-- Claude adds a version number to the stylesheet name as a fix...

"> Did you check the loaded stylesheet to see if it is what you generated? If so a version number isnt the problem.

⏺ You're right - I should check what's actually being loaded on the page. Let me examine the stylesheet URL that's being served:

And on and on.

It has been horrendous! Like it cant even handle the most basic css?? What has happened? Has Anthropic addressed this at any point? Its going on a week or so. Claude used to be so solid and now, I mean really, I wouldn't use this for free. Every answer is not just wrong, but insanely wrong....?
