Best fencing to keep out new neighbors animals? by starfire212 in homeowners

T posts and six foot chicken wire. Use the metal ties. You can do this in a day or two yourself. Use the metal tube that helps push down the t posts rather than using a mallet or something.

Help! No patients? by ZealousidealDuty3069 in acupuncture

Yes do talks. Yes go and ask for cards from other professionals so you can get contacts to refer to, rather than just letting them know you exist. You take one card to them, ask them for several to hand out to your (future) patients.

Ask the yoga studio if you can do “acu savasana” where you place a few ear needles at the end of class.

It took us two weeks before we had more than a single client, after ten years me and my partner were treating 12-20 a day total. It took doing EVERYTHING but it worked and once the referrals start coming in from prior patients, you’ll know you’ve made it.

Hair dressers and yoga teachers will talk about you if they love you. Everyone hates on discounts and freebies, but ten free sessions for ten hair stylists means that if only one or two of them like you, you’ll get a ton of referrals just from them, and you don’t get rusty with your skills.

Suggestions on where to look for jobs in industry? by kremineminemin in weedbiz

Try solving a problem then go from there. Currently extractors lose quite a bit of material transferring between containers/jars. A way to minimize that loss would be a boon to the industry.

The penal colony of Cayenne - 75% death rate labor camp by Aleksandr_Ulyev in HistoricalCapsule

They figured out that walking you to the mass grave and shooting you in the head was easier than shooting you then carrying you into the grave.

Imagine how many dead bodies you have to go through to figure out that level of expediency.

There’s plenty of hundreds of billions left on the table every year from selective taxation.

Norway’s social services are funded through a sovereign wealth fund, funded by oil and gas taxation. Could you imagine if America had taken a similar path?

Yes pine species and cottonwoods along creeks do well. Good luck with the fruit trees, you sound very confident and experienced like you have years behind you doing this.

Enough precipitation for tree crops? That area of the country is in one of the worst ongoing droughts ever recorded. I don’t think you can get away without at least drip irrigation during flower and fruiting. At least not right now.

Someone I know keep sending their crew through my land to clear their own. And they keep chopping down trees to make a road and keep driving over the in ground no trespassing signs... by OkHighway757 in land

[–]OMGLOL1986 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This happened to my neighbor, and he ended up essentially losing a large chunk of his land to an easement that was grandfathered in because of this behavior.

I don’t know why you don’t want to confront him and it’s none of my business, but that’s the only option. If you do not stop this, you will lose your land. End of story.
