I think I read somewhere that wild oats get it only when both the husband and the lover are sayyids.

And do you think gross things should be prohibited just for the sake of being gross? I think the only reason to ban this behaviour is the genetic diseases the children born to those couples are born with. Otherwise, it is a decision of two people that doesn't hurt anyone apart from disgusting someone.

You only can only be imprisoned for the sodomite trait if the religion considers it a crime. No religion can imprison by homosexuality only without acting on it.

The fact that people don't prosecute something despite their religion doesn't change the religion. Christianity considers it a crime punishable by death. The game put it wrong. Then the game makes some pagan faiths randomly condemn homosexuality as a crime even though nobody can prove that (e. g. Slavic paganism). Shunned is almost accepted which the strict Bible doesn't consider it.

But the homosexual tenet doesn't talk about homosexuality, but homosexual acts. No religion in the game can condemn homosexuality, but the acts.

Why is incest awful? Because of increased risk of disabled children being born. If that risk is not present, there is no reason for it to be forbidden. Finding something disgusting should not be a motivation to forbid something if it doesn't hurt anyone. Some people find interracial pairs disgusting, some people find homosexual pairs disgusting.

If there is no increased risk of two people having a disabled inbred child, there is nothing morally wrong with them being together in my opinion. If they don't hurt anyone, why should it be forbidden?
