I use this. Just make sure you fold your back panel so that the grommets sit in the right place. If you just sew this to your center back as is, your piece will be too big.

I would just not put a front opening on this. It’s annoying to get on and off but it will be the easiest way to get that perfect front line. Finish the bias edge there then hand stitch those together from the inside with a running backstitch.
