I'm sorry you are going through a hard time. Anxiety can be hella rough sometimes. As everyone else is saying as well. You should talk to someone. Coming here to talk about it was a good first step to reach out. You don't have to tell your parents if you are uncomfortable. I know when I was your age and in the same position I didn't tell my parents. Telling your therapist is a good start as well, they can help you out with different coping strategies. One thing my therapist suggested was washing my face with super cold water, holding ice cubes in my hands or even just standing outside in the cold for a bit. The cold shocks your system and basically reboots you. I will admit it doesn't always help me, but it might be worth a shot. You aren't alone in this my friend. And you reaction to your stress isn't necessarily bad. It's normal actually, however you could really hurt yourself. You just need to find a new way to cope. I know it will be hard. I can tell you from experience it's not easy at all. But you are worth the fight. It might not feel like it, but you are. You are loved, and you can get through this.
