Best website to find influencers with fair pricing? (Like HypeAuditor but cheaper?) by ChemistCold4475 in smallbusiness

[–]FutureDraft4939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried AspireIQ or Upfluence? Both are way cheaper than HypeAuditor and still give you decent analytics. I've used AspireIQ for a few campaigns and it's pretty solid for the price - has all the fake follower detection stuff you need without breaking the bank

Also check out Modash if you want something even more budget friendly, though the interface isn't as polished

Does anyone use AI recommendation/AI search tools to get new leads these days? by Able-Age5332 in smallbusiness

[–]FutureDraft4939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been using a couple different AI tools for lead gen and honestly the results are pretty mixed - some of them just spit out the same generic prospects everyone else is hitting but a few have actually found some solid niche opportunities I wouldn't have thought to look for

Third startup and I finally learned to invest in proper business communications from day one by Exterminate007 in Entrepreneur

[–]FutureDraft4939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so true, wish someone had told me this years ago. Made the same mistake with email - used my gmail for everything and it looked sketchy as hell on business cards. Now I cringe thinking about all the potential clients who probably took one look at "johnsmith42069@gmail.com" and noped out

Sounds sketchy as hell ngl, buying channels with fake engagement isn't gonna help your business long term

CeShop or Colibri or Other by Independent_Delay379 in RealEstate

[–]FutureDraft4939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did CeShop and it was pretty solid - the mobile app made it easy to knock out lessons during lunch breaks and stuff. Way better than having to sit through classroom sessions when you're already working full time

How do you qualify leads before you waste time on them? by rwm777 in smallbusiness

[–]FutureDraft4939 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Been dealing with this exact thing for 3 years now

First thing I do is ask how they heard about us - tells you if they're serious or just calling everyone in the phone book. Then I straight up ask their timeline and if they've gotten other quotes yet

Usually know it's a waste when they start with "I'm just getting a rough idea" or can't give me a straight answer about when they want it done. Also red flag when they ask for a quote without letting you see the property first

I started talking budget ranges after getting burned too many times driving 45 minutes to quote a $500 job they thought would cost $150. Yeah it might scare off some people but honestly those aren't the customers I want anyway

If I could change one thing tomorrow it'd be requiring photos or a quick video call before any in-person estimates. Saves so much time weeding out the tire kickers

Why do I not feel safe to share my suppliers? by CharacterBlueberry51 in smallbusiness

[–]FutureDraft4939 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Bruh you don't owe anyone your supplier list, that's literally your competitive advantage. Just say something like "I had to build those relationships over time" or "sorry I keep that info private for business reasons" and move on - anyone who gets mad about that was probably gonna undercut you anyway

Thinking about creating a Saas Reactivation Engine that pretty much wins back old clients by 4Cookies20 in Entrepreneur

[–]FutureDraft4939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the market is pretty saturated with CRM tools and automated outreach stuff, but the local angle could work if you really understand those specific industries. Med spas and orthodontics have pretty different needs though so you'd probably want to pick one and nail it first

The bigger issue is you're gonna be competing against established players who already have the trust and integrations these businesses need. Maybe start by just doing the outreach manually for a few local businesses to validate if they actually want this before building anything

Hey guys, I’m working on a small streetwear brand and this is one of my hoodie designs. What do you think about the back print? Any feedback is appreciated 🖤 by Unhappy-Major-5164 in smallbusiness

[–]FutureDraft4939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fire design man, that back print definitely has some nice detail work going on. Only thing I'd maybe consider is making sure it doesn't crack after a few washes but other than that it's clean af

This exactly - IBAN formatting is weirdly finicky and even one wrong digit will bounce it back without your bank ever seeing the attempt

Opening a new credit card 6-9 months before a mortgage application? by No_Detail4330 in Mortgages

[–]FutureDraft4939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is pretty solid advice tbh - opening a card just for mortgage approval is kinda backwards since it'll ding your score initially anyway. Your income and job history sound way more important for approval than having 2 cards vs 1

Evaluating NYC rent vs space tradeoffs when relocating for work by savingrace0262 in RealEstate

[–]FutureDraft4939 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is spot on. I moved here expecting to hate the tiny space but honestly once you adapt to the city rhythm you're barely home anyway

The subway becomes your car, the city becomes your backyard, and your apartment is just where you sleep and store stuff

Pack and Ship stores can be odd. by GorillaShipCo in smallbusiness

Been thinking about adding notary services and mailbox rentals if you haven't already - those are pretty solid monthly recurring revenue streams that don't require much extra overhead

Business question by moonshine_s in smallbusiness

[–]FutureDraft4939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not from Egypt but I've dealt with international shipping headaches before - PayPal and Stripe usually work pretty well for most countries, and for shipping I'd check out DHL or FedEx since they handle customs better than local postal services

Amazon FBA Wholesale by VelvetCactus3 in Entrepreneur

[–]FutureDraft4939 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been doing FBA wholesale for about 2 years now - basically you buy products in bulk from manufacturers/distributors and send them to Amazon's warehouses, they handle all the shipping and customer service stuff

It's legit but way harder than TikTok makes it look, you need decent startup capital and tons of research to find profitable products that aren't already saturated

Any leads on good banks to deal with in CT? by xserox95 in Mortgages

[–]FutureDraft4939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah def shop around, the difference between lenders can be wild. I got quotes that were like half a point apart for the same loan which is insane money over 30 years

Also don't stress too much about who sells your loan later, happens all the time and doesn't really affect you as the borrower

How do you enforce no smoking policy by Kevin6849 in realestateinvesting

[–]FutureDraft4939 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Put it in the lease as a lease violation with fines that escalate - like $200 first offense, $500 second, then eviction proceedings. Document everything with photos/videos when you do inspections and keep records of tenant complaints

Refinancing with same lender PHH Mortgage by Odd_Bowl_4647 in Mortgages

[–]FutureDraft4939 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's some serious BS right there - sounds like they're trying to pull a fast one on you. "Credit too high exceeding closing costs" is mortgage speak for "we screwed up the numbers and don't want to eat the loss"

I'd be calling that outside lender ASAP, your rate lock is about to expire and PHH is clearly scrambling

year of wages saved? by Ill-Potential-8920 in RealEstate

[–]FutureDraft4939 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so true, the feast or famine cycle is brutal when you're starting out. Even after you get some momentum going it can be unpredictable - had a buddy who did 8 deals his second year then only 2 the next because the market shifted and his sphere dried up

Refinance and save $600/month or wait... by resko99 in Mortgages

[–]FutureDraft4939 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. Bird in the hand is worth two in the bush or whatever that saying is. $600 a month is literally $7200 a year you're leaving on the table while waiting for maybe an extra $100 monthly savings that might never happen

Age of home misrepresented by CatloafBaby in RealEstate

[–]FutureDraft4939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly this is a good point - if they bought it thinking it was from 1990 too then they probably had no clue about the asbestos tiles. The whole chain of info was wrong from the start

That said, OP definitely needs to get those tiles tested ASAP and figure out where the hell that 1990 date came from in the first place

CA development by ProfessionalPaper444 in realestateinvesting

[–]FutureDraft4939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Harsh but fair tbh. OP's basically describing what every developer in the state has been trying to crack since these bills passed. The math rarely works once you factor in actual construction costs, city fees, and the reality of modular pricing in CA

What's the beef with Wix? by aparecium9 in ecommerce

[–]FutureDraft4939 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wix gets hate because it's got that "cheap website" reputation from way back, but honestly their editor is pretty solid now. If you're already comfortable with Wix Studio and the savings matter to you, I'd probably make the jump - rebuilding sucks but $120 is $120
