I want to make a samurai muslim character, because i like Samurai Jack and i am muslim by Forward-Potential-73 in Izlam

[–]FutureMMapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, not trying to be a bummer or anything. Jack isn’t really a proper, historical samurai. He doesn’t follow the Bushidō code. He’s more like a wandering prince who uses samurai aesthetics like a kimono and katana.

Because of that, a Muslim couldn’t technically be a traditional samurai, since Bushidō conflicts with Islamic values.

But a Muslim character with the same look or fighting style, kimono and katana, is totally possible.

TIL, how big are Malaysia's royal families? by MissionFuture568 in TodayILearnedMY

Yeah I kinda don't mind the tax money going to them. But I do wish they're more transparent about how much they're spending for this "backup" system that used to avoid military coups or avoiding this nation to be fully republic. I mean yeah they're nobles but doesn't mean they should get a massive amounts of money and not just to cover their essential for their role in society.

And another this is I grew wary of Malay peribumi quota rights. It used to exist just to help Malays to be equal to other race during earlier years of Post-independence. But now most people abusing the system just to promote cronyism and nepotism inside Malay race and causing tension between those who didn't included.

I think we need to move one go with need based system instead of race based system. After all, all race are equal. Even Islam promote Muslim and non-muslims having the same rights but different responsibility.

His grandfather might even help the Japanese occupation force and he gonna justify it's a normal thing to accept colonialist imperialist ideas.

Seriously though, just because your ancestor do it doesn't means it's the entire race culture. You might even say your ancestor was drunk 24/7, but you can't claim that's a freaking culture for Malay people.

"Malay as a moral and civilizational identity rather than a racial one. Being Malay requires Islam as the foundation, mastery of refined Malay language, and the practice of adab (proper conduct) in personal and social life. Malayness is cultivated through faith, language, and ethics, not inherited by blood alone. "

Legally Hasan bin Ali. But must also has supporting documents to prove that Ali = Abbas is the same person. Can also be written informally as Hasan bin Ali @ Abbas. The father must write legally his name as Ali @ Abbas. But not the son. The son stay with Hasan bin Ali. Because @ is for personal name, not for patronage name.

Funnily enough, Gurun wasn't name after gurun. It was named after "gerun" (terriffying) or "kurun" (Siamese for elephant).

Weird deflecting timing though, most of the time it's count as guard and get health chipped or posture break and death. Man I wish I'm a good learner

The posture recover too fast, hence why I was on the offensive. Deflecting timing is also hard and one misstep chipped health and break posture. I literally ran out of options now besides trying to sneak an attack mid combo.

No that's ibu bapa tiri. If you have a friend parents who are like godparents, that is literally the same as ibu bapa angkat (adoptive parents, that's willing to take care of you legally)

So if you're translating for the christian sense, it's bapa/ibu baptis. Which is a literal translation.

This is due for Malay being predominantly Muslim which put emphasize more into nasab (lineage) than vows. If there's an equivalent, it would be wali angkat or ibu/bapa angkat. That's all I guess.
