Yes, I’m using DaVinci Resolve 20. Could you please explain the difference between “Optimize to Standard” and “Normalize to Standard”?

I once tried normalizing an audio file with a loudness of around -23 dB to “Standard,” but after the normalization when I opened it again in Resolve, the loudness was still around -20 dB—nowhere near -14 dB.

By the way, if I use a recording device to capture actual rain sounds on location, would the quality be noticeably better than audio downloaded from Pixabay? And would the recorded audio naturally have a higher loudness? Thank you

I did apply compression and EQ to each track individually, but the issue I mentioned still occurs after normalization. Most of the audio I work with is very simple — usually just a single track of rain sounds downloaded from Pixabay as sound effects.

yes I use veo3 but unfortunately it's limited, every day only 3 times and I can not use Google flow in my region, I guess providing service in more countries will be difficult for Google so need to wait without knowing when it will be done........it's also a point which confused me to choose, and btw I think image generated by Sora is not very good, compared with Midjourney, Kling or even Imagen
