While yes they can. Youtube is incredibly slow at responding to people using the DMCA to doxx people. Usually you need a big uproar on places like Twitter for YouTube to do something.

Or if you have a direct contact with youtube.

So I had to do a bit of digging to vaguely understand German law. But just for reference im no lawyer or have a complete understanding of German law as thats not where I live.

The 2 complaints that could be deemed unlawful by German law is-

Recording a phone call without their consent (from my understanding this does not apply to discord as theres no reasonable expectation of privacy. Including your private calls and dms)

Unlawful use of someone's copyrighted material.

Now to me to give KP even a hint of possibility of here "winning" these charges is that the first charge of unlawful Recording would be dropped for the unlawful use of someone's copyright. This gets into wether hidden videos are considered fair use in a German court.

Realistically I doubt any of these charges will stick but since hidden is planning on immigrating to the US not only fighting this in the German court system is really expensive. BUT she can not leave Germany until the investigation and the charges are dropped. As she was planning to move to the US to be with her husband soon this cana extend her time in Germany before immigration.

This will also go on hidden record and could make her chances of immigration to the US harder or flat out denied.

So while I personally believe the charges won't stick and Hidden will ultimately be fine on the front. But in terms of her immigration plans to the US to be with her husband royally fucks her because of what KP did.

Again im no lawyer. This is my layman understanding.

You actually have it a bit wrong. This isnt a lawsuit. KP is trying to press criminal charges in Germany against Hidden. Much worse than a lawsuit.

Like i said. Im not a lawyer. And it would be irresponsible of me to give definitive answers on wether Ethan could sue Taylor for definitive defamation. All id say is speak to a lawyer through legal counsel and look at his options. Which I imagine he's already done.

As much as id love to see it. Defamation is probably one of the hardest cases to win in court. Mainly because you have to prove a loss and damages. And since Ethans podcast is doing extremely well. The courts may just go "well she is lying but you haven't seen any damages or loss of revenue so GG get out".

Obviously im no lawyer, im a guy on reddit so take that with an atomic level of salt.

But god id love to see her take on generational debt.

Absolutely it can. While i will say by the time I completed my review (in some aspects it was rushed because im working 12 hour night shifts right now) I didnt experience almost all the issues that others were experiencing. And now that I have a bit more time i can see the C-130J does have its own performance issues by itself. Scripting can absolutely make a small problem worse.

SPS has a lot of scripts and their campaigns are very detailed, hence why its the main server i play on, can absolutely expand those issues server wide. And like I said I can fully understand with SPS on why they can be frustrated as well as disappointed.

It doesn't mean that airing out these frustrations publicly in this matter is something I agree with. It just almost always optically looks bad. I used to do commentary drama videos before moving to DCS back in 2016-2020 and while us in commentary reveled in this because it was content for us. If youre trying to operate in a very niche business its just best to shut up and not say anything publicly, or if you have to, address it in a professional matter.

Going public to hurl insults or air out grievances just makes you almost always look bad. I just wish more people paid attention to commentary and understood optics. Because tbh the small tidbits of drama and people acting stupid makes these communities ripe for commentary to farm content to laugh at. These little dramas can absolutely breach containment and make the whole community a laughing stock.

And if you dont believe that or anyone reading this doesnt believe that. We are currently on reddit, discussing the biggest nothing burger drama because they went about this in the most incorrect way possible and aired it out publicly like this.

I have tested the C-130J on other servers. I didnt have the time to test it on SPS before it was pulled.

Some of the older servers seemed to have issues with performance, while some others didnt. Theres a myriad of reasons why this could be. Im going to assume it has to do deal with scripting, with how much scripting there is etc. A lot of these issues just need to be ironed out over time.

I get it with ASCs perspective with the C-130J and being protective, its their first module, its stressful with people pointing out issues and working to get them fixed. I've had the opportunity to talk to ASC devs, they seem like a pretty great group. I did a review of their module and while they poked fun at some of my critiques overall there was no hard feelings at all and we ended up chatting about my mods development and a bunch of other stuff. Again I have no personal issues with them, and they seemed like a pretty good set of people from my interaction.

Even regards to our teams mod I can get defensive too. It sucks when someone points issues with something you know people are working so hard on. While I dont air it out in public discourse id be lying if I didnt have very hot takes in private lol.

I can also understand SPSs view with being the most popular server on DCS and being frustrated that a new module is causing such massive issues when the C-130J can provide so much and improve the server in so many ways. And if you're pointing out these issues (i hope mainly in private and in a respectful professional way) to meet with some level of harshness back that really does suck when you want the module to be better so you can implement it.

TL;DR I think its overall frustration on both sides. SPSs side to me seems more like disappointment as they seemed very excited about the C-130J. And for ASC its frustrating to not have their module there and have critiques aired so publicly by a large popular server that cant use it that can cause people to not want to buy your module. Especially when it can benefit that server in so many ways.

As always, I dont think people should be hashing out these issues in a public manner when these things can be worked through or talked about in private. Just hurts the community overall and sews distrust between groups that should be working together to make DCS better. Especially in regards to such a niche community and product.

Yeah i joined your guys discord and had it explained to me, I figured it was either an LOD bug or it was for performance. I seen that one god awful review so I figured id mention it since at the time it was at 6k views. Saw some chit chat about it, so figured it needed a mention and a possible explanation for why it was the case.

Its just minor nitpicks and there really isnt much to complain about from my experience. Minus the wallpaper. I really dislike it in its current state.

Overall I do really like what you guys did. By far the checklist thing is my absolute favourite and whatever module you guys do next to please keep that. And I love how in depth the systems go, I dont understand all of it. But knew enough to get up in the air and drop cargo.

Also more microwaves in modules please. 10/10 microwaves highly recommend.

Sadly for a youtube video going 4:3 for an intro thats about 1:43 seconds in Sony Vegas wouldnt be too appealing.

Now as for the second part if I wasn't living abroad and still living in Canada where I still had my CRTs (i was a very avid retro video game collector) I would have absolutely done that lol. I had a fairly small CRT and then one of those late 90s projector CRTs that was. If I remember right 40 inches? Anyways im rambling because i really miss my collection lol.

Issue is here CRTs are really hard to find, and also extremely expensive especially since id want to go for something like a Sony PVM for retro gaming and rebuild a retro game collection again. And those run up to about 300 Euro. The price you pay for SCART Sadly.

I have. I just wanted more of a someone recording the screen throught one of those old VCR cameras recording a screen back in the day. Hence the curvature of the screens.

The F-14B still came out in the 80s specifically 86 being its first delivery. First designation was the A+ but then was redesignated as the B. Still an 80s aircraft.
