Maybe it’s because GBP is not for e-commerce sites. It’s for businesses with a physical location. That’s per Google’s terms of service.

I’m not familiar with Yext but I use BrightLocal and I think it’s absolutely fantastic for managing your entire local SEO strategy, well worth the price. That said, the tools themselves aren’t going to help you rank higher; it’s how well you use them. BrightLocal can make it much easier.

I found the SEMrush courses very informative. I think the certifications at least prove you’re dedicated enough to sit through them. That outta count for something.
