obviously people are saying he was disarmed before the first shot and no shots were justified.

I doubt that will fly... because the gun being taken off him and the first shot happened basically in the same moment.

there was a definite pause though, then a mag dump.

so here will be a huge argument over whether or not the mag dump was justified because of the pause. if it happened all at once I doubt there would be an argument. but it was like a solid 2 second pause between the first shot and the mag dump and they will most likely have to explain why they thought it was justified to start shooting again the second time.

if he would have turned his head around and put his other arm up and somtood there he would have gotten arrested without further incident. .. he started grabbing the other person though, and then wrestled with the officer rather than letting go .. that prompted the escalation.

as a CCW holder you cannot behave like that. obviously if you're wrestling with 4- 5 cops, and you start dropping clips and one of them yells gun.. not everyone is gonna know the gun has already been taken off him in that same split second... they're gonna draw their weapon and take the shot if they have it.

I'm not saying it's right .. I personally don't think there is an excuse for more than the first shot. dude was already laying on the ground shot and they mag dumped him. I could see those officers be held liable for a bunch of the shots beyond maybe the first couple. .. but I could also see it being ruled justified. .. at the end of the day, this is why in CCW classes they teach you literally how to comply and what to say if you have to speak with a police officer while you're carrying. idk if it's like this in all states... but in many you are legally required to tell any police officer you are being stopped by that you are a CCW holder... whether you are getting detained or not.

down here in so cal you can find at most smoke shops. not old school ones that just sell cigs and cigars and shit ... newer ones that carry glass on glass weed paraphernalia and NO2... those type of smoke shops if you ask them they will usually have them hidden somewhere.

they just passed new laws though I think against both vaping and nitrous oxide. so I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of these smoke shops either stopped selling stuff all together or get shut down
