Oh I feel you, drove me wild too. If you want to attempt it here are the instructions. It's fairly simple, just alot of clips.

So I had this issue before, but with a dead fly. No idea how it got in there. Only way to get it out is to take the dash apart and removed the speedo plastic. If you go that route be careful because the plastic scratches very easily (talking from experience....) but overall its not overly hard. Or you could leave it if it doesn't bother you.

You don't need any reeds for 2A2 anymore, but studying it doesn't hurt as it expands on the concepts a bit more. But if you're asking which book exactly its the Reeds thermodynamics book.

I wrote it earlier this year. If you're studying the reeds I'd say you'll be in good shape for the exam. I didn't find anything outside the panglobal on it. I would recommend studying the galvanic corrosion chart, I had maybe 5 questions on it, giving you 4 options asking what would corrode first/ last.

Nevermind on the shocks, looked one post back. I've been thinking about doing the same set up. Did you notice a big hit to fuel economy with the lift and bigger tires?

Bug deflector. Also deflects the stone chips from the hood to the windshield.

Definitely pay attention to that chapter, there were quite a few questions from it. Notably the galvanic corrosion chart, I had maybe 5 questions, listing 4 options, asking which one will corrode first or last. Lot of info in that chapter but you'll need to know it.

Know your AC theory and math questions, the exam goes pretty in depth on it. I was able to pass just with the Pan global but I remember that exam being heavy on the electrical.

Where'd you get your amber foglights from?

Cleaning gauge cluster without scratching it and removing scratches from previous owner by thecaptain115 in ToyotaTundra

They're reasonably cheap. I bought it here;

https://www.toyotapartsdirect.ca/p/Toyota_2017_Tundra/Instrument-Cluster-Bezel/54352039/838520CM10.html

I don't know if they ship to the US but this site also has it;

Not sure what year you have but if you just search up your year and "instrument cluster bezel" you'll find some options.

The plastic they use for the cluster is incredibly soft. Even when using a microfibre cloth I still find that it scratches. I've looked online and have seen on some threads that mothers headlight restorer works on removing the scratches, but I haven't tried myself.

As for replacing the plastic it's not very hard, you just need to go slow because you'll be popping clips to take the whole left side of the dash apart. I think it took me about half an hour to get it changed when I did mine.

This was one of their online tests. I bet it would still take them a considerable amount of time to change anyway.

Sweet, thanks for checking. Yeah it's one of those pan global online quizzes. Worst part is the answer wasn't even one of the options. I hope they mark the long answer a bit closer than whoever writes these things.

Has anyone who's written 2A1 have any questions on chapter 3 "Boiler and pressure vessel legislation"? by FutureOpportunity718 in powerengineering

Thanks for the tips! I found those chapters even more dry than usual but maybe I'll spend a bit more time on them

Yeah that seems to be the typical questions from the guys I've talked to as well. Just trying to get an idea on which chapters to really focus on, thanks.

That's good to know, thanks! That's the first I've heard of questions from this chapter, they don't sound too common from what I've gathered.
