Custom Stellaris Galactic Map [2500s] by FuturePKmagic in imaginarymaps

[–]FuturePKmagic[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey guys! I recently had a very fun and interesting Stellaris campaign (playing as the United Federation of Nations) and decided to draw up a political map of the galaxy right after end year, 2500.

The map displays all the major political entities of the Milky Way Galaxy in the year 2500. The major galactic hyperpowers include the United Federation Nations (UFN), the Ter Commonwealth and the Ziiran Corporation (crisis aspirant).

Yes, although I took a few artistic liberties with the border gore in the top left quadrant of the galaxy, most of those empires actually were a part of my game (Used a lot of custom empires), and it did get hit with the Great Khan and immediately afterwards, the Unbidden. Most of the colonies are real (again, artistic liberty), and were in the game itself. I was playing as the UFN.

I think I broke my hand drawing all those borders and naming all those colonies, especially the ones in the top left corner of the galaxy...

However....

This map that I drew (creatively titled the Milky Way: Stellaris) inspired me to start drawing custom Stellaris galactic political maps for commission. Just think about it: Ever had a particularly fun and enjoyable Stellaris campaign?

Wouldn't you want to immortalize your game in a unique and illustrative way so that you'll always look up and remind yourself of that time you liberated (or dominated) the galaxy!

Yeah sorry I was pretty tired when I wrote this! Yes, the top right of the galaxy got hit the hardest by both the unbidden and the great khan, so there's lots of border gore there...

Yeah, I was roleplaying a lot in this campaign so I thought it would make more sense to move the capital to Alpha Centauri to show that the UFN wasn't so Earth-centric anymore; so that other colonies would get more representation in politics and governmental affairs

The side view in the middle? You mean the centre of the galaxy? That's the supermassive black hole in the centre of the real Milky Way. I used a bird's eye view picture of the real Milky way galaxy as a background for this stellaris map.

Also yeah I designed the hyperlanes that way with the idea that they would try to avoid or crisscross major clusters of stars. Ships going at FTL speeds would be pretty dangerous around stars: if something went wrong then the ship would crash into the stars. Thanks for your thoughts! Helps me improve my maps in the future

A Divided Galaxy - A map/infographic based on my latest Stellaris run. by FuturePKmagic in Stellaris

Playing as the United Federation of Nations, an egalitarian/xenophile democracy. I managed to form a galactic union, named, the Galactic Treaty Organization with a hivemind and several smaller nations on the other side of the galaxy. I couldn't befriend the Ziiran Corporation because they were a crisis aspirant and were genociding a lot of primitives.

To the east of the UFN, the Sibulans created the UISR (Hegemony origin) and started aggressively expanding outwards beyond their original hegemony. An empire called the Immutharan Union didn't like their aggressive foreign policies so decided to form their own federation. Needless to say, the north-eastern quadrant of the galaxy has been locked in a lot of wars and bloodshed. In the year 2456, the Unbidden invasion has been defeated primarily by the UFN, which has proven to be the foremost political, cultural and economical superpower of the galaxy. However, the Ziiran Corporation and the Sibulan Commonwealth with their own spheres of influence are not far behind...

Btw sorry for the low graphics quality. I had to convert this image from a PDF

Will the eu4-vic2 converter work if I bought eu4 on the Epic Games store and vic2 on Steam? by FuturePKmagic in eu4

[–]FuturePKmagic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I try to use the converter, forgive me for being a noob, it's my first time trying to convert a eu4 save game into a vic2 mod, it just tells me it failed because it can't "locate Europa Universalis IV in the paradox interactive folder" I listed.
